Loving Wishes Die and Amazing Daisy stamp set by Stamps By Me

Good morning crafters

Well that's the first week of my summer holidays gone..where did the week go!!

Today I'm sharing  sample I made using the new Loving Wishes die. I combined it with the very beautiful Amazing Daisy stamp set

Also used:
Distress Inks : Spiced Marmalade,  Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick
Black onyx versafine ink

  • I cut a panel of white card, to fit horizontally across my card blank, and a slightly wider strip of black card, which I set to one side
  • I masked off a panel on the white card and then blended the Distress inks within this panel
  • I removed the masking tape
  • The Amazing Daisy was then stamped over the panel in black onyx versafine ink
  • I cut the Loving Wishes out of black card, using the new die. It cut first pass...perfect
  • This was adhered across the card
  • I them matted the panel onto the black card panel, ensuring the width of black showing was more on the bottom than the top

Pocket Watch stamp
Key stamp
Cogs stamp
TIME stamp
Time Flies stamp

Smokey Grey versafine ink
Gilding Flakes
Sticky embossing powder ( Ranger)
Black embossing powder
Versmark ink
Canvas Board
Medium Tag

  • To begin I used a foam blender to blend the Lustre Luxe's over the inner part of the pocket watch. The Lustres cover the mdf so well and on only needed one application. Amazing!
  • I inked up the Pocket Watch stamp with the Smokey Grey versafine ink and stamped it over the mdf. I also stamped the Key stamp randomly over the area
  • Next I inked up the outer frame of the mdf Pocket Watch with Versmark ink, covered with my sticky embossing powder and heated with my heat gun
  • I applied my gilding flakes to the sticky embossing powder and used my fingers to rub the excess off
  • The Pocket Watch was adhered using Pinflair glue gel

  • This is the small mdf Pocket Watch and I used the same technique as above
  • I blended the Lustre Luxe's over both parts of the mdf
  • Small cogs were stamped in the Smokey Grey versafine ink over the inner part of the watch
  • The watch was assembled using pinflair glue gel

  • I blended Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides over my canvas Board
  • I masked off part of the Ladies Profile stamp  (so it would fit inside the stamped Pocket Watch ), and stamped it in black onyx versafine ink
  • The Pocket Watch was then stamped over the Ladies Profile
  • I then stamped the Cogs, key and PocketWatch randomly over the canvas in the Distress Oxides and Versafine ink
  • I used the Golden Gate Lustre Luxe through the Dinkable stencil and around the edge of the canvas, to complete this sample

  • Moonstone Lustre Luxe was blended over a medium mdf tag..it only took one coat!
  • Masking off Ladies Profile  (so it fits in Pocket Watch stamp ), I stamped it in Versmark ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder
  • I then stamped and heat embossed the Pocket Watch and TIME stamps in black
  • The Pixie powders were then used to create a background for my images.

Moon and sentiment stamps from Bee Crafty

Good morning everyone

I'm spending the day with my beautiful 4 week old granddaughter who's come to visit for a few days.. soo in love with this little girl xx

Anyways today I'm sharing a card I had fun making using the
Moon stamp and
Circle friendship sentiment stamp
Both are by Bee Crafty

Also used:
Distress Inks : Squeezed Lemonade,  Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade
Black onyx versafine ink

I began by cutting a square of black card and a slightly smaller square of white card

I inked my Moon stamp up, on the white card, with the DI's, and stamped it in the centre top

I masked the moon off

I blended my DI's over the white card, starting from the moon outwards and once happy, i spritzed water droplets on it, which were then dabbed off with a paper towel

The sentiment was stamped in the black onyx versafine ink

I adhered this to the black card and then onto the card blank, to complete my make

I hope you like it. It's not what I had planned when I originally started playing but I love the effect I ended up with

Vintage Flowers by Honey Doo Crafts

Morning crafters
Hope everyone is well xx

Today I'm sharing a DT sample to showcase the beautiful
Vintage Flowers by Honey Doo Crafts

Also used:
Friendship Quotes stamp set
Distress inks : Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn
White embossing powder

To begin I cut some green card slightly smaller than my 7x5 card blank and a piece of white card slightly smaller than this

I inked up the white card using my blue Distress Inks,  blending from darker on the outside and lighter towards the centre

I stamped and heat embossed some of the flowers on a separate piece of white card and used the DI to colour them in

These were cut out, shaped and glued to create a 3d flower

Using this flower as I guide I then stamped and heat embossed more flowers and leaves directly onto the white card, so they would sit behind my 3d flower

I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in the white powder

I subtly coloured in the leaves

I adhered the white card to the green and then to the card blank

To finish I adhered the 3d flower over the stamped images and added a few pearls

I hope you like my sample

Watercolour Frames by Altenew

Good morning crafters

I'm here again with my weekly Monday morning blog for products available from
Www.bumbleberrys.co.uk

Today I'm showcasing the stunning
Watercolour Frames by Altenew
I know you're loving them because they keep selling out...lol
I used the frames to create an effective and beautiful background to a flower stamp I had

Also used:
Distress Oxides : Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, Worn Lipstick
Smokey Grey versafine ink

I cut a strip of white card and inked around the edge with the Peeled Paint Oxide

I inked up one of the solid frame stamps in the Peeled Paint, spritzed with water and stamped it near the top of the strip of card

I repeated the process with the other two Oxides. The effect of this frame stamp, together with the effect the Oxides create, is simply beautiful

I then stamped the flower and sentiment in the smokey grey versafine ink and adhered the strip to my card blank

Many thanks for popping by

Doodle Designs stamp set by Honey Doo Crafts

Good morning crafters
I'd love to share my DT sample for the gorgeous new stamp set available to buy now from
Www.honeydoocrafts.co.uk

This is the Doodle Designs stamp set

Also used:
Mum stamp set
Tim Holtz Mixed Media die
Black onyx versafine ink
Kuretake clean colour pens

A square of black card was cut smaller than card blank, as well as a slightly smaller one in white card

I set these to one side then stamped the flowers on white card, coloured them in with my kuretake clean colour pens then shaped them into 3d flowers

I worked out where I wanted my 3d flowers to sit on the white square card, then I stamped flowers and leaves, in the versafine ink, so they would sit behind my flowers

I cut out my swirl from the Tim Holtz die and coloured it in with my pens

The swirl was adhered over the stamped images and the 3d flowers adhered over the swirl

The sentiment from the Mum stamp set was stamped in the versafine too

I adhered the topper to the black card then adhered that to my card blank, then added a few clear gems to complete this sample

Thanks for looking
