First day of my summer holidays...Yay ๐
For today's post I'm sharing another of my DT samples for the beautiful
Mystical Flowers
Friendship Quotes
from Honey Doo Crafts
Also used:
Distress Oxides: Cracked Pistachio, Wilted Violet
Distress Inks: Cracked Pistachio
Smokey Grey versafine ink
Clear gems
- I cut some white card smaller than my 7x5 card blank and inked it with the Cracked Pistachio DI, blending it from dark at the top to lighter towards the bottom.
- The sentiment was stamped in Smokey Grey versafine ink, together with one of the little flowers
- This was adhered to card blank with wet glue
- The flowers and leaves were stamped in smokey grey versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder
- They were coloured in, on the reverse, with the Distress Oxides
- They were then cut out, shaped and assembled into 3d flowers before adhering to card blank with pinflair gel glue
- Pearls and clear gems finished off this sample
I hope you enjoyed looking through this post
