Hello You

Hello everyone xx

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas xx

It's my turn on the Bee Crafty blog today and I'm using the fabulous Light Tomorrow  stamp set.
Such a fun and versatile stamp that can create so many different looks depending on the medium you use.
Today I've gone for the "bright" and vibrant look

Products used :
Light Tomorrow stamp set
Cogs stamp set
Everyday Sentiments
Distress Oxides
Transfer foils

I inked up all the cog stamps in various bright Distress Oxides,  and stamped them randomly all over the card blank
On a seperate piece of square card I stamped the fab Light Bulb in black onyx versafine then masked it off
Using the same Distress Oxides I randomly stamped parts off the texture stamp over the masked Light Bulb. This gives the illusion of it coming from behind
I then used my transfer foils to create some "lighr" rays
To complete I stamped the sentiment in black onyx versafine.
This was matted onto black card then adhered to card blank

I love this fun and contemporary look ... hope you do to

I'll be back again soon

Skull verses nature's beauty

Good morning 😊😊

Been playing with my  Bee Crafty stamps and thought I'd blog what I made for you xx

I combined the darkness of the Skull with the beauty of nature, and the gorgeous Ground Elder. How well do they go together. ..

Stamps used:
Skull
BEAUtanicals: Ground Elder
Life &Rain
Cogs

Also used:
Distress Oxides: Fossilized Amber, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet,
Vintage Sepia versafine

  • I cut some white card slightly smaller than my card blank and a piece of kraft card slightly smaller than this.  I set the white card mat to one side
  • I stamped the skull in the versafine ink and then masked it off, together with a horizontal panel
  • Within the panel I blended Fossilized Amber DO
  • I spritzed the cog stamp with water, stamped it into the DO, holding it there for a few seconds, before lifting it off. This gives a water bleach type stamped image. I repeated this several times
  • I then stamped the Cogs in Wilted Violet and Peacock Feathers DO
  • I carefully removed the masking tape
  • The flowers were also stamped in the DO's as well as the sentiment,  which I stamped in two parts
  • This was then adhered to white card mat and then onto card blank to complete the sample

I hope you enjoyed today's blog

Pocket Watch, TIME and Time Flies stamps by Bee Crafty

Hi ... I'm back again

Here's another card I made whilst playing with my stamps from Bee Crafty and this card is based around a DT sample I made for the Time Hochanda show. I loved how it came out so I thought I'd make a slight variation to it

I used the following stamp sets :
Pocket Watch
TIME
Time Flies

Also used:
Inkables Template: Circles
Dinkable Template: Chainlink
Distress Oxides  : Peacock Feathers, Fossilized Amber
Smokey Grey versafine ink

  • I cut a panel of black card and a slightly smaller panel of white card
  • The Pocket Watch was stamped in Smokey Grey versafine ink off the edge of the left hand side of the card panel
  • Masking off the Pocket Watch,  I inked Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide through the Circles Inkable
  • I repeated this with the Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide through the Dinkable Chainlink template
  • Keeping the mask in place, I stamped the various cogs, in the Distress Oxides, in a random manner around the Pocket Watch
  • The mask was then removed
  • I inked up the TIME section of the sentiment only, in the Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide and stamped it in a graduated pattern down the right hand side
  • This was then adhered to the black card and adhered to card blank with wet glue
  • To complete I inked up the Time Flies section only, of the sentiment and stamped it in the Smokey Grey versafine ink
I hope you like the use of these stamps and please check out the Bee Crafty website for lots more fabulous products

Da Vinci DT samples for Bee Crafty

Good morning everyone xx

It's time for my weekly blog post at
Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty  for
Bee Crafty  and I am SO excited to be allowed to share my DT samples for the
Da Vinci inspired stamps that are coming up on the show this Saturday on Hochanda!

I have to say these were a challenge for me, a style I've not crafted with before, but I fell in love with them... so inspiring and versatile too. I hope you enjoy what I've made with them as much as I do x

Stamps I used:
Leonardo
Leonardo Signature
Vitruvian  Man
Da Vinci  Wings
Sforza Horse

Also used:
Cogs stamp set
Mdf Artboard
Inkables
Dinkables
Distress Inks
Distress Oxides
Versafine
Lustre Luxe
Gilding Wax

Using the Vitruvian Man and Leonardo Signature,  with Smokey Grey versafine

Another using the Vitruvian Man over a masked panel, using Peeled Paint and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides, with the Metal Work Alpha template.  The Leonardo Signature was stamped in the Peeled Paint

A frame was cut from card.  The cut out panel from this was blended with Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy and Walnut Stain Distress Inks.  Leonardo was stamped in Vintage Sepia versafine.  The frame was inked in the Distress inks and edged with Golden Gate Lustre Luxe and Gold gilding wax. Leonardo Signature was stamped in the versafine

The inked panel was created by blending Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks.  The Angel Wings were stamped in the background using Faded Jeans Distress Oxide and the focal wings and Leonardo Signature were stamped in Smokey Grey versafine. The offset dots Inkables added a few subtle dots to the sample

Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxides were inked through the Heart easy frame stencil, the Distressed diamonds and metal work alpha stencils. The Sforza Horse and Leonardo Signature were stamped in Vintage Sepia versafine

A frame was cut out then adhered to card with temporary adhesive. The images were stamped over the card blank,  and frame, in Vintage Sepia versafine. Antique Linen Distress Ink was blended around the card and over the frame and used through the metal work alpha stencil to add some depth. The frame was removed and then adhered permanently with foam pads

The panel was masked off using tape. Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks and Iced Spruce Distress Oxide were blended to create background.  The metal work alpha stencil was also used to add interest.  The cogs were stamped in smokey grey versafine ink, first and second generation stamping to add depth.  Leonardo and the Signature were also stamped in the Smokey Grey versafine.

The Square easy frame Inkable was used to create a panel, using Iced Spruce DO and Weathered Wood distress inks.
Leonardo was stamped in Iced Spruce DO and the Signature in Smokey Grey versafine
The XL crackle paint and script stamps were stamped randomly in both the inks, to add some depth and dimension
Once dry I carefully removed the square easy frame
I wanted go create the impression of a Book, so I moved it up slightly at an angle, then inked two of the edges in the Iced Spruce.  I used the edge of the Inkable to get an angled edge and then used a ruler and pencil to draw "pages"

Iced Spruce Distress Oxide was the only ink pad used for this sample
The Square easy frame Inkable was taped in place, then the Vitruvian Man was inked up in in the DO and stamped randomly within the square. I did not want a clear image so just pressed lightly in different areas of the stamp, to get a sketchy drawn look
The script and crackle paint stamps were inked up and randomly stamped within the panel
The signature was stamped clearly
On a seperate piece of card the Vitruvian Man was stamped again then a circle die used to cut out the circle part off the image only. This was adhered with a foam pad to add dimension

For my last sample the Artboard was painted in brown acrylic paint then I used Spiced Marmalade DO and Walnut Stain abd Black Soot distress inks around the edges.
I used an old scourer to dabble Fossilized Amber DO randomly over the Artboard.
Leonardo was stamped in Vintage Sepia versafine ink
The crackle paint was randomly stamped all over in Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxides.  A few random areas were stamped with the Script
To complete the Leonardo Signature was stamped in the Vintage Sepia versafine

And there we have it... all my samples for these fabulous and versatile Da Vinci inspired stamps.
And by the end of my samples I am well and truly in love with them all... I hope you are too.

Thankyou soo much for stopping by and PLEASE leave a comment and let me know what you think.

You and Together Word stamp sets from Stamps By Me

Hello everybody

Are we all ok? Having fun crafting?

I'm so excited to share some of my DT samples for the new Word stamp sets released by Stamps By Me.
These are fantastic and each one consists of one large solid word stamp, and lots of add-on smaller sentiments. I LOVE big fonts so was in my element to be able to sample these 😊

So here are some of my makes, each using one of the Word stamp sets with some of Stamps By Me other stamp sets

For this sample I have used the You stamp set, in conjunction with the Follow Your Dreams and Butterfly lamination stamp sets
To create this look you stamp the Butterfly first,  mask it off then create a masked off square. Within the square you blend your inks and stamp your images
Once dry carefully remove tape to reveal your card

The Together stamp set was used for this sample, together with the cross stitch frame die and True Friends stamp set.
The background was created by blending Distress Oxides together and spritzing with water

I love how these Word stamp sets can be used with any of your other stamp sets 😊
I hope you got yours. If not head over to the Stamps By Me website

Hi everyone.

Hope you're all well
I'm excited to show you my samples for the gorgeous new Watercolour Flowers and the Words stamp sets by Stamps By Me .
Each stamp set contains one large solid word and lots of add-on smaller sentiments.  I LOVE big fonts so this is a must buy for me.

I used the Just The Right Words Collection die for this sample, as well as the Cross Stitch Frame die. The flower stamps were  coloured in with my kuretake clean colour pens and a water brush

The flowers were stamped and coloured in using the solid stamp and distress oxides, spritzed with water.
The Beautiful word sentiments were stamped and heat embossed in Pearl Green Tourmaline embossing powder, from my crafty stash

The Beautiful die is from the Just The Right Words Collection die set and the add-on sentiment from the Beautiful stamp set. I love how everything works with everything else so seamlessly. I used masking tape to create the panel effect of the stamped flowers

I love this flower design and the Words dies and stamps work beautifully with it,  as well as the sentiments that come with the flower stamp

Many thanks for taking the time to look

Beautiful poppies by Stamps By Me

Hello everyone

Today I'm sharing a DT sample I made using one of my favourite new stamps from
Stamps By Me
This is the very beautiful Follow Your Dreams. I love poppies and the design of this stamp is just gorgeous.
I also combined the sentiment from the new
Colour To The World stamp

I used these stamps in conjunction with a new style of card I've been playing with recently.  I love the look of continuing the stamped image onto the back of your card blank. I'll be posting a few more of this style I'm sure!! Lol

Also used :
Masking tape
Distress Inks : Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Fired Brick
Black onyx versafine
(Texture stencils and stamps from my stash )

  • To begin this style of card,  lay the card blank open, and flat, on your workspace. Use the maskng tape to create your desired panel
  • Blend the Distress inks within the masked panel, spritzing with water as and when desired
  • Using the same coloured inks, ink randomly through various texture stencils and stamp randomly using texture stamps
  • Stamp the poppies in Fired Brick Distress Ink, ensuring some overlap onto the back of the card blank. Use first and second generation stamping ie don't re-ink in between stamping. This creates a more muted stamped image, giving the impression of depth to your stamping
  • Stamp the sentiment in black onyx versafine
  • Once ink is completely dry carefully removed tape to reveal your completed card
I hope you enjoyed this post and liked this style of card.. I love it lol

Anyways,  many thanks for popping by
