Decision to try...

Good morning crafters xx

I'm back on the Bee Crafty blog today with a card using the fabulous Light Tomorrow ,  combined with the beautiful Feather Wings. What a fab combination...

Products used :
Light Tomorrow stamp set
Feather Wings
Cogs stamp set
Decision to try stamp set
Inks
Shaving foam
Silver Gilding Wax
Black onyx versafine
White and black pens

To begin I made a background using inks and shaving foam! I love this technique as every one comes out different.  And they smell yummy to 😂
I set this to one side until dry
On a seperate piece of card I stamped the Light Bulb in Smokey Grey versafine then coloured it in with a clear Sparkle Pen..just to add a hint of shimmer
I applied silver Gilding Wax to the top of the bulb, then once dry I cut it out
On the dry foam background I randomly stamped around the edges with the texture stamp and, using the cut out Bulb as a guide, I stamped the Feather Wings, and various cogs, so they came out from behind it
The sentiment was stamped in the Versafine and then I adhered the cut out Bulb in place
This was adhered to card blank then I used a black pen to frame it

I love the combination of these stamp sets..gives a funky and steam punk look to your makes

I'll be back again soon

Skull verses nature's beauty

Good morning 😊😊

Been playing with my  Bee Crafty stamps and thought I'd blog what I made for you xx

I combined the darkness of the Skull with the beauty of nature, and the gorgeous Ground Elder. How well do they go together. ..

Stamps used:
Skull
BEAUtanicals: Ground Elder
Life &Rain
Cogs

Also used:
Distress Oxides: Fossilized Amber, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet,
Vintage Sepia versafine

  • I cut some white card slightly smaller than my card blank and a piece of kraft card slightly smaller than this.  I set the white card mat to one side
  • I stamped the skull in the versafine ink and then masked it off, together with a horizontal panel
  • Within the panel I blended Fossilized Amber DO
  • I spritzed the cog stamp with water, stamped it into the DO, holding it there for a few seconds, before lifting it off. This gives a water bleach type stamped image. I repeated this several times
  • I then stamped the Cogs in Wilted Violet and Peacock Feathers DO
  • I carefully removed the masking tape
  • The flowers were also stamped in the DO's as well as the sentiment,  which I stamped in two parts
  • This was then adhered to white card mat and then onto card blank to complete the sample

I hope you enjoyed today's blog

Pocket Watch, Owl and cogs stamp sets by Bee Crafty

Hello everyone xxx

Hope you're all good and have a lovely day planned.

I'm back with my weekly blog for
Bee Crafty. I'm showcasing the beautiful Time stamp sets again.  Love these,  so versatile and can be for men and woman alike
Stamp sets used :
Pocket Watch
Cogs
TIME
Owl
Birds On A Wire

Also used:
Inkables Template : Brick wall
Dinkables Template : Chain Link
Distress Oxides  : Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, Fossilized Amber
Black onyx versafine ink

  • To begin I cut two squares of white card, in decreasing size, slightly smaller than my card blank
  • I inked the Pocket Watch in Black onyx versafine ink
  • I then inked through the two templates in the Fossilized Amber and Peacock Feathers
  • The Pocket Watch was then masked off
  • The cogs were stamped in all three Distress Oxides,  ensuring some were stamped over the masking sheet. This would create the effect of sitting behind the Pocket Watch
  • I then removed the mask and stamped two cogs over the edge of the Pocket Watch, to give the illusion of sitting in front of it
  • The Owl and Birds On A Wire were stamped in the black versafine,  off the edges of the card
  • To complete I stamped the TIME section of the sentiment stamp in the Peacock Feathers
I love the versatility of all the Time stamp sets and love creating depth and dimension using the masking technique

I hope you've enjoyed looking through today's post. I'll be back again same time next week with another Bee Crafty make

DT samples for the new Time products by Bee Crafty

Good morning xx

How is everyone?  Do we have a crafty day planned?

I'm back today with my weekly blog for
Bee Crafty

Following on from last week's blog I'd like to showcase the rest of my DT samples for the new Time products, recently released on Hochanda

Last week I showed the mdf makes, today I'd like to share the cards I made using the same products

Pocket Watch stamp
Cogs stamp
Key stamp
Ladies Profile stamp
TIME stamp
Time Flies stamp

Also used:
Distress Oxides
Black onyx versafine ink
Inkables Tempate: Circles
Dinkable : Chain link
Versmark ink
White embossing powder
Pixie Powders  (you can also use Brushos)

  • I cut some teal paper slightly smaller than my card blank and white card slightly smaller than this
  • The Pocket Watch was stamped in black onyx versafine ink, onto the white card, and masked off
  • I used Peacock Feathers and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides through the Circles and Chain Link stencils
  • The cogs were then stamped in the same Distress Oxides
  • I removed the mask then stamped the TIME part of the stamp on the right hand side of the white card

  • For this sample I cut a square of black card and a slightly smaller square of white card
  • The Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxides were blended across the white card, spritzing with water and drying in between each layer of ink
  • The Ladies Profile and the Cogs stamps were inked up in the black onyx versafine ink and stamped onto the blended background
  • I second generation stamped the Pocket Watch in the lower left corner to get a more muted image, which sits in the background
  • The sentiment was also stamped in the black onyx versafine ink to complete

  • For this sample, I cut a square of black card and a slightly smaller square of white card
  • The Pocket Watch was stamped in Versmark ink and heat embossed in with white embossing powder
  • I used Pixie powders to create the background
  • The sentiments were stamped in black onyx versafine ink, masking it off to split the sentiment into two separate stamped images

  • To create this sample, I cut a panel of black card and a slightly smaller panel of white card, to fit vertically down my card blank
  • The keys were stamped in Wilted Violet, Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxides
  • Using the panel as a guide, I stamped the Pocket Watch so it would sit under the panel
  • I adhered the white card panel onto the card blank with TEMPORARY adhesive, stamped the TIME sentiment over both the panel and the card blank and then I removed the panel
  • The white panel was adhered to the black panel and the adhered to card blank,  ensuring the sentiment stamp lined up perfectly
I really hope you've enjoyed seeing my first DT samples, showcasing the new Time products on Hochanda

I'd love you to leave me some comments,  I do read them all.

Thankyou for stopping by and I'll be back with more samples for Bee Crafty next Thursday

DT samples for new Time products by Bee Crafty

Good morning everyone

How is everyone today? I'm thoroughly enjoying being on my summer holidays..no clock watching and plenty of crafting. Perfect lol xx

Today I'm back with my weekly DT blog for
Bee Crafty

Sam will be on Hochanda today at 11am and 4pm showcasing their TIME products. Make sure you tune in as there are some fabulous new products.

So todays blog is the first of my DT samples for the show

These were my first products to sample, since joining their talented DT so I hope I've done them justice.

Today I'm showcasing the
Pocket Watch mdf
Ladies Profile stamp
Pocket Watch stamp
Key stamp
Cogs stamp
TIME stamp
Time Flies stamp

Also used:
Lustre Luxe : Golden Gate, Ocean Blue, Moonstone
Smokey Grey versafine ink
Gilding Flakes
Sticky embossing powder ( Ranger)
Black embossing powder
Versmark ink
Canvas Board
Medium Tag
Dinkable : Honeycomb
Pixie Powders  (can use Brushos)

  • To begin I used a foam blender to blend the Lustre Luxe's over the inner part of the pocket watch. The Lustres cover the mdf so well and on only needed one application. Amazing!
  • I inked up the Pocket Watch stamp with the Smokey Grey versafine ink and stamped it over the mdf. I also stamped the Key stamp randomly over the area
  • Next I inked up the outer frame of the mdf Pocket Watch with Versmark ink, covered with my sticky embossing powder and heated with my heat gun
  • I applied my gilding flakes to the sticky embossing powder and used my fingers to rub the excess off
  • The Pocket Watch was adhered using Pinflair glue gel

  • This is the small mdf Pocket Watch and I used the same technique as above
  • I blended the Lustre Luxe's over both parts of the mdf
  • Small cogs were stamped in the Smokey Grey versafine ink over the inner part of the watch
  • The watch was assembled using pinflair glue gel

  • I blended Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides over my canvas Board
  • I masked off part of the Ladies Profile stamp  (so it would fit inside the stamped Pocket Watch ), and stamped it in black onyx versafine ink
  • The Pocket Watch was then stamped over the Ladies Profile
  • I then stamped the Cogs, key and PocketWatch randomly over the canvas in the Distress Oxides and Versafine ink
  • I used the Golden Gate Lustre Luxe through the Dinkable stencil and around the edge of the canvas, to complete this sample

  • Moonstone Lustre Luxe was blended over a medium mdf tag..it only took one coat!
  • Masking off Ladies Profile  (so it fits in Pocket Watch stamp ), I stamped it in Versmark ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder
  • I then stamped and heat embossed the Pocket Watch and TIME stamps in black
  • The Pixie powders were then used to create a background for my images.
