So the versatility is endless, as I hope my samples show. You can also use the dies to create shaped edges and card fronts and use the stamps on their own... 😊😊 And within this collection are Torn Paper Pieces dies... how versatile are these.

Mystical Flowers from Honey Doo Crafts

Good morning crafters xx
How are you all?
It's the first week of my summer holidays so enjoying the lack of alarm clocks and early mornings lol.

For today's post I'd like to share a DT sample I made using the gorgeous
Mystical Flowers
Birthday Sentiments

by Honey Doo Crafts

Also used:
Vellum
Black onyx versafine ink
Distress Oxides : Fossilized Amber,  Worn Lipstick
Versmark ink
Black embossing powder

  • To prepare my card blank I cut off a strip from the front, and drew two black lines on the inside page to create a visible panel, when the card blank is closed
  • I masked off the panel, to allow me to stamp some of the smaller images within it. I then used a water brush and the Distress Oxides to add a hint of colour
  • I stamped the main flowers onto vellum with Versmark ink and heat embossed in black
  • Using a water brush I coloured in the flowers on the reverse side of the vellum, spritzing with water and drying with a paper towel
  • These were cut out, shaped and assembled to make the flowers
  • Placing the flowers where I wanted them , I drew in the stems with a black pen and then adhered the flowers with 3d gel
  • I stamped the sentiment and the butterflies from the same set, in black onyx versafine ink to complete my sample
Thankyou for taking the time to look at today's post. Don't forget to check out the Honey Doo website for lots more fabulous products

Honey Doo Crafts Floral Crest stamp and die and Little Lilies and Leaves and Dream Sentiments stamp set

Morning crafters
Hope everyone is well and looking forward to a good weekend

I'd like to share another DT sample using the stunning
Floral Crest stamp and coordinating die
Little Lilies and Leaves stamp set
Dream Sentiments stamp set
These are available from www.honeydoocrafts.co.uk

To begin I randomly stamped one of the flowers, from the Little Lilies and Leaves stamp set, over a piece of square cardstock,  cut smaller than my card blank. This was done in a pale distress ink

I stamped the Floral Crest onto some white card,  coloured it in with Kuretake clean colour pens and cut it out using the coordinating die

I then stamped a few of the matching flowers from the Little Lilies and Leaves stamp set and coloured them in the same colours, before cutting out.

A piece of vellum was laid on top of my stamped background, with the flowers laid in place, so I could work out where I wanted my sentiment to go. This was stamped and heat embossed with ink and clear embossing powder

I then adhered the Floral Crest, and cut out flowers, around the vellum panel, using pinflair glue to hold it all in place

Some dried flowers were tucked behind the flowers on the bottom left of the card

To complete I matted this onto some lilac card and then adhered to card blank.

I cut some white card smaller than the card blank and stamped the trio of flowers randomly,  using Versmark ink. I heat embossed them in white embossing powder.
They were coloured in with Kuretake clean colour pens and a water brush.
I stamped and heat embossed some trio of flowers on vellum, coloured them in on the reverse with the pens and cut them out. They were shaped and glued together to create 2 flowers
On an oval die cut I stamped the bee flourish in green ink and 2 bees in black ink. The bees were coloured using the kuretake pens.
I mounted this onto a mirri oval die cut.
The catd was then assembled using foam pads

Honey Doo Crafts Rose Trellis and Rose Trellis Background stamp sets

Morning crafters
Hope everyone is well. I've got a day to myself so craft room here I come lol

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the stunning Rose Trellis and RoseTrellis Background stamp sets by www.honeydoocrafts.co.uk

To begin I cut some card smaller than the card blank and created a watercolour background using distress inks. Then I stamped the Rose Trellis Background with frayed burlap distress ink

I then took a piece of vellum the same size as the card mat, and stamped the Rose Trellis in black versafine ink.  This was then coloured in on the reverse using Kuretake clean colour pens.

The sentiment was stamped in black versafine onto an oval die cut and matted onto mirri. This was adhered to the vellum with a foam pad. Heart gems were glued to the 4 corners of the vellum

The vellum was then attached to the card mat ensuring that any glue was hidden under the sentiment and 4 heart gems, so it didn't show through the vellum

This was then adhered to card blank to complete

For The Love Of Stamps Rock n Roll stamp set

Afternoon crafters.

Having had the opportunity to make samples using this fab set of stamps, I decided to make a few more cards for myself... As I had to send my samples away for the shows lol.

So here are just a couple I made.. Sure many more will follow in the future lol

For this first one I created a background using the small stamp elements.. And versafine black onyx ink.

I stamped the jukebox in black, coloured with Kuretake clean colour pens and cut it out.

I stamped a sentiment onto a strip of vellum which was taped around the background before it was attached to card blank

The jukebox was attached with foam pads.

I created a watercolour effect background using the kuretake clean colour pens
This was mounted onto some paper that
 came free with the magazine
The jukebox was stamped, colored in with the pens and cut out
I mounted it onto card with foam pads
A few notes and a sentiment were stamped to complete my card

I hope you liked these.

For The Love of Stamps Blossoming Birdcage stamp set

Hi
Sharing a canvas DT sample using the gorgeous birdcage stamp set just released by For The Love of Stamps by

 www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

I used texture paste and acrylic paints to cover the canvas before stamping the script stamp randomly all over
The birdcage and bird were stamped onto vellum and coloured with acrylic paints, and sparkles added to accentuate the flowers, then these were attached to the canvas using 3d gel.
Flowers and leaves from the Floral Sketches stamp set ( found on Hunkydory website ) were stamped and heat embossed onto papers from the Background Paper Pads. These were glued around the birdcage
The sentiment was stamped and cut into strips, inked around the edges then glued on.
Pearls and clear gems completed the canvas.
I hope you like my work and would love you to follow my blog to see all my future makes
Hugs xx
