Be strong, be fearless, be you

Morning xx

I've been playing with the gorgeous Trio of Butterflies for my weekly DT post on the
Bee Crafty blog xx

Also used:
Texture Borders stamp
Boy Girl Work stamp
Piece of bubblewrap
Watercolour inks
Gelli Plate
Clear embossing powder
Versmark
Sparkle pens

I applied ink to my Gelli plate then used a piece of Bubblewrap to add a hint of texture.
I took the print directly on to my card blank

I stamped the Texture Borders, and Style Wire borders randomly over the printed panel.
I drew a wiggly frame around the panel.

I stamped 3 butterflies on some white card. Coloured them in with my Sparkle pens.
I cut them out then covered them in Versmark  and applied clear embossing powder over the top. I heat set it then repeated a second coat, to create a lovely glossy effect.
I adhered these with 3d glue gel.
I stamped the Be strong sentiment on white card, cut them up, and adhered to card to complete.

I hope you enjoyed looking through todays post and I'll be back with another next week.

Live by the sea

Hi everyone xx

Hope everyone is well and been crafting away.
I'm up on the Bee Crafty blog today, and I've been playing in my Art Journal again using the gorgeous Jellyfish from the Bee Crafty Under the sea collection.

Also used:
Dinkables
Distress Oxide
White embossing powder

Having first painted my page with white gesso and dried it off with my heat gun, I then blended distress oxides randomly all over. I dried each layer off before applying more until I was happy with the effect.
I dropped some water on and dabbed dry with paper towel.
Using a damp wipe, and my circles Dinkables, I removed some of the ink to add more dimension.
I stamped and heat embossed the gorgeous Jellyfish in white.
Green Distress Oxide was blended through the leafy Dinkable
I stamped various Seaweeds in different Oxides, first and second generation, to get more dimension.
The sentiment was stamped on paper, cut out and adhered to finish.

I hope you enjoyed today's post

Nature...

Hi crafters xx

Hope you're all well and have a lovely day planned
I'm on the Bee Crafty blog today and I decided to try something new. I bought some natural Slate coasters and had a go at stamping on them. Have to say once I got the hang of it I was on a roll...and will be doing more no doubt lol

I used:
Large Butterfly
Large Sunflower
Maple Hand Drawn leaf
Versmark
Embossing Powders
Metallic Markers (from my crafty stash )
Varnish

When stamping/heat embossing on these you MUST use a GLASS MAT as it will get very HOT

Do NOT touch the slate coaster during and after heat embossing as it gets extremely HOT. It takes a long time for the slate to cool down

Anti Static the coaster before stamping your image in Versmark.  Press and hold down firmly for a minute or so to allow the Versmark to soak into the slate properly

Apply embossing powder

Heat. (Please note it takes a long time for the embossing powder to melt!!! )

Once dry and the slate has cooled right down then you can colour in your images.
I used metallic Markers from my crafty stash

Once dry I applied several coats of Varnish

I hope you liked today's makes..I  enjoyed making them

I'll be back soon with another Bee Crafty make

Be Yourself. ..

Hi crafters xx

I'm back today with another make over on the
Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog

I thought I'd have a play with my beautiful Mandala Inkable and combine it with the fabulous Skull stamp! And what a combination. .I think they really work well together

Also used
Pixie Powders
Inspirational Words 2 - Be Yourself
Black onyx versafine
Distress Oxides
Clear embossing powder

I made a background using my Pixie Powders and left it to dry naturally
I inked through the Mandala 3 Inkable with Wild Honey, Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxides
The skull was stamped in black onyx versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder
I randomly stamped the splatter part of the skull stamp, to add effect, around my Pixie Powders background
The sentiment was stamped in black onyx versafine and again inked around the edges using the splatters from the skull
I assembled the card to complete

I hope you like the combination of the pretty Mandala with the fabulous Skull!!

I'll see you all next Thursday with another Bee Crafty blog
