Dreams...

Hello everyone xx

I'm over on the Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog today with a card I made using the gorgeous Butterflies, Bird on a Branch and Ground Elder stamps
As the summer holidays are now at an end this will be my last Sunday DT blog post..I'm back to my once a week post on Thursdays xx

Also used
Every Hour is a Dream stamp
Flock of Birds
Sparkle pens
Versafine
White gel pen

I cut out a circle aperture on black card, using one of my nesting dies, and set this to one side

I then cut out a circle slightly bigger than the aperture and used Sparkle pens to create a background

The Ground Elder was stamped in black onyx versafine in first and second generation, to create depth

The Bird on a Branch and Flock of Birds was also stamped in the Versafine

I adhered circle background behind the aperture then adhered this to the card blank

The sentiment was stamped in the Versafine, matted onto black card and adhered with foam pads

A drew a white wiggly frame around the black card, to complete this sample

I hope you have enjoyed today's make and I'll be back again soon with another Bee Crafty make

Skull verses nature's beauty

Good morning 😊😊

Been playing with my  Bee Crafty stamps and thought I'd blog what I made for you xx

I combined the darkness of the Skull with the beauty of nature, and the gorgeous Ground Elder. How well do they go together. ..

Stamps used:
Skull
BEAUtanicals: Ground Elder
Life &Rain
Cogs

Also used:
Distress Oxides: Fossilized Amber, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet,
Vintage Sepia versafine

  • I cut some white card slightly smaller than my card blank and a piece of kraft card slightly smaller than this.  I set the white card mat to one side
  • I stamped the skull in the versafine ink and then masked it off, together with a horizontal panel
  • Within the panel I blended Fossilized Amber DO
  • I spritzed the cog stamp with water, stamped it into the DO, holding it there for a few seconds, before lifting it off. This gives a water bleach type stamped image. I repeated this several times
  • I then stamped the Cogs in Wilted Violet and Peacock Feathers DO
  • I carefully removed the masking tape
  • The flowers were also stamped in the DO's as well as the sentiment,  which I stamped in two parts
  • This was then adhered to white card mat and then onto card blank to complete the sample

I hope you enjoyed today's blog

Pocket Watch and BEAUtanicals stamp sets by Bee Crafty

Afternoon  everyone xx

Been having a "play" with some of my gorgeous stamps from Bee Crafty and thought I'd blog this card
I used the following stamp sets :
Pocket Watch
BEAUtanicals Wildflower
BEAUtanicals Ground Elder
Friendship

Also used:
Distress Oxides : Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry
Distress Inks   : Worn Lipstick
Inkables Tempate Brick Wall
Smokey Grey versafine ink

  • To begin I cut two pieces of white card, in decreasing size, slightly smaller than card blank
  • On the smallest mat I inked through the Brick Wall template in the Worn Lipstick Distress ink
  • The Pocket Watch was stamped in Smokey Grey versafine ink in the centre of the card
  • Using the Twisted Citron Distress Oxide, I stamped the Wildflower stamp, randomly across the left side of the page
  • I inked up the Ground Elder stamp in the Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide and again stamped it randomly. I also did second generation stamping, ie stamping a second time without reinking the stamp. This adds the effect of light and shade
  • The Friendship part of the sentiment stamp was inked up and stamped in the Smokey Grey versafine ink
  • I then assembled the layers of my card using wet glue
I love the combination of all these stamp sets. I hope you do to.
Thankyou for taking the time to have a look at todays play

LIFE- Ground Elder

Good morning everyone

What's everyone got planned for today?  Hope you all get some crafting done 😊

I'm back today with my weekly Bee Crafty DT blog over on
Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog

I just love to mix up all my stamps and see what I come up with.
Today I'm showcasing a card I made using the following stamp sets :

Splatter Swirl Upright Rectangle Frame
Ground Elder
Life & Rain

Also used:
Dinkable: Honeycomb
Distress Oxides:  Cracked Pistachio, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry
Distress Ink: Tumbled Glass
Versafine black onyx ink

  • I stamped the Rectangle Frame in the Versafine in the centre of my card blank
  • Masking off the edges, I blended the DI from darker, to lighter, towards  the centre of the frame
  • I blended Cracked Pistachio DO through the Dinkable around opposite corners of the frame
  • Whilst the frame was still masked off, I inked up the Ground Elder in Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet DO and stamped it inside the frame. I also added a hint of Picked Raspberry DO onto the heads of the flowers and re stamped it
  • I stamped the LIFE part of the sentiment across the middle of the stem, in Cracked Pistachio DO and the remainder of the sentiment in black versafine

I hope you like the combination of these stamps and colours.
Many thanks for popping by and please leave a comment

Distress Inks  : Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade
Black onyx versafine ink
Smokey Grey versafine ink

  • Taking the smallest square of white card I stamped the Ladies Profile, and the Moon, in Smokey Grey versafine ink
  • The Wildflower 2 was stamped in the Squeezed Lemonade DI, ensuring they were stamped at different heights
  • I then stamped the Ground Elder in the Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean DI'S.  I also stamped some a second time, without reinking.  This gives depth and dimension to your flowers
