Mondrian Inkable with Birds and Butterflies stamp set by Bee Crafty

Afternoon crafters xx

I thought I'd quickly do a blog for a sample I had made for a future DT blog post for
Bee Crafty
However The beautiful Mondrian Inkable is on Bee Crafty show on Hochanda today, a long with the Da Vinci inspired stamps.  So I thought I'd share my sample now to inspire you lol
I used it with the beautiful
Birds and Butterflies
Soapy Bubbles  positive background stamp
Wildflower 1 stamp
Dinkables : Distressed harlequin, honeycomb
Distress Oxides : Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade

Black onyx versafine

Ink through the Mondrian Inkable with the Distress inks and oxides then blend the same colours randomly through the Honeycomb and Distressed harlequin dinkables
Stamp the Soapy Bubbles positive background stamp in a mixture of the inks, again randomly over the Mondrian Inkable
Whilst still having Inkable in place stamp your images in Black onyx versafine.  I used post it notes to mask off other areas of the stencil so the images didn't go over into an adjacent panel
Carefully remove Inkable and dry off before matting and layering your card

I hope you are inspired by my sample and get your Inkable now lol

Da Vinci DT samples for Bee Crafty

Good morning everyone xx

It's time for my weekly blog post at
Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty  for
Bee Crafty  and I am SO excited to be allowed to share my DT samples for the
Da Vinci inspired stamps that are coming up on the show this Saturday on Hochanda!

I have to say these were a challenge for me, a style I've not crafted with before, but I fell in love with them... so inspiring and versatile too. I hope you enjoy what I've made with them as much as I do x

Stamps I used:
Leonardo
Leonardo Signature
Vitruvian  Man
Da Vinci  Wings
Sforza Horse

Also used:
Cogs stamp set
Mdf Artboard
Inkables
Dinkables
Distress Inks
Distress Oxides
Versafine
Lustre Luxe
Gilding Wax

Using the Vitruvian Man and Leonardo Signature,  with Smokey Grey versafine

Another using the Vitruvian Man over a masked panel, using Peeled Paint and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides, with the Metal Work Alpha template.  The Leonardo Signature was stamped in the Peeled Paint

A frame was cut from card.  The cut out panel from this was blended with Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy and Walnut Stain Distress Inks.  Leonardo was stamped in Vintage Sepia versafine.  The frame was inked in the Distress inks and edged with Golden Gate Lustre Luxe and Gold gilding wax. Leonardo Signature was stamped in the versafine

The inked panel was created by blending Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks.  The Angel Wings were stamped in the background using Faded Jeans Distress Oxide and the focal wings and Leonardo Signature were stamped in Smokey Grey versafine. The offset dots Inkables added a few subtle dots to the sample

Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxides were inked through the Heart easy frame stencil, the Distressed diamonds and metal work alpha stencils. The Sforza Horse and Leonardo Signature were stamped in Vintage Sepia versafine

A frame was cut out then adhered to card with temporary adhesive. The images were stamped over the card blank,  and frame, in Vintage Sepia versafine. Antique Linen Distress Ink was blended around the card and over the frame and used through the metal work alpha stencil to add some depth. The frame was removed and then adhered permanently with foam pads

The panel was masked off using tape. Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Inks and Iced Spruce Distress Oxide were blended to create background.  The metal work alpha stencil was also used to add interest.  The cogs were stamped in smokey grey versafine ink, first and second generation stamping to add depth.  Leonardo and the Signature were also stamped in the Smokey Grey versafine.

The Square easy frame Inkable was used to create a panel, using Iced Spruce DO and Weathered Wood distress inks.
Leonardo was stamped in Iced Spruce DO and the Signature in Smokey Grey versafine
The XL crackle paint and script stamps were stamped randomly in both the inks, to add some depth and dimension
Once dry I carefully removed the square easy frame
I wanted go create the impression of a Book, so I moved it up slightly at an angle, then inked two of the edges in the Iced Spruce.  I used the edge of the Inkable to get an angled edge and then used a ruler and pencil to draw "pages"

Iced Spruce Distress Oxide was the only ink pad used for this sample
The Square easy frame Inkable was taped in place, then the Vitruvian Man was inked up in in the DO and stamped randomly within the square. I did not want a clear image so just pressed lightly in different areas of the stamp, to get a sketchy drawn look
The script and crackle paint stamps were inked up and randomly stamped within the panel
The signature was stamped clearly
On a seperate piece of card the Vitruvian Man was stamped again then a circle die used to cut out the circle part off the image only. This was adhered with a foam pad to add dimension

For my last sample the Artboard was painted in brown acrylic paint then I used Spiced Marmalade DO and Walnut Stain abd Black Soot distress inks around the edges.
I used an old scourer to dabble Fossilized Amber DO randomly over the Artboard.
Leonardo was stamped in Vintage Sepia versafine ink
The crackle paint was randomly stamped all over in Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxides.  A few random areas were stamped with the Script
To complete the Leonardo Signature was stamped in the Vintage Sepia versafine

And there we have it... all my samples for these fabulous and versatile Da Vinci inspired stamps.
And by the end of my samples I am well and truly in love with them all... I hope you are too.

Thankyou soo much for stopping by and PLEASE leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Moon and Birds On A Wire stamp set by Bee Crafty

Afternoon  lovely crafters xx

How are we all?

Been having a play and made this CAS card using the beautiful stamps from
Bee Crafty . I sometimes think less is more and like to let the words and images do the talking. I hope you agree.

Moon
Birds On A Wire
Circle of Friends

Also used:
Distress Inks : Shaded Lilac, Broken China, Tumbled Glass, Mowed Grass
Black onyx versafine ink

  • I cut a strip of black card and slightly narrower strip of white card, to fit across my card blank
  • Setting the black card aside,  I blended the blue DI'S over the panel. This was adhered to black card with wet glue and set to one side
  • I stamped the Moon on a seperate piece of card,  firstly in the Mowed Grass DI. I then reinked the Moon in Broken China, turned it 180 degrees and stamped over the blue stamped image. This created a two tone Moon
  • I die cut the Moon with a circle die

  • I placed the Moon over the strip to allow me to work out where I wanted the Birds on A Wire to be stamped, so the end would sit behind the Moon
  • I stamped it in black onyx versafine ink

  • I masked off my sentiment stamp and used the panel as a guide so I could stamp part of the sentiment above the panel and the rest below. I used the black versafine ink

  • I then assembled the elements of the card using wet glue, and foam pads behind the Moon
I hope you like my use of these stamps
Please check out the Bee Crafty website for lots more fabulous products

LIFE- Ground Elder

Good morning everyone

What's everyone got planned for today?  Hope you all get some crafting done 😊

I'm back today with my weekly Bee Crafty DT blog over on

I just love to mix up all my stamps and see what I come up with.
Today I'm showcasing a card I made using the following stamp sets :

Ground Elder
Life & Rain

Also used:
Dinkable: Honeycomb
Distress Oxides:  Cracked Pistachio, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry
Distress Ink: Tumbled Glass
Versafine black onyx ink

  • I stamped the Rectangle Frame in the Versafine in the centre of my card blank
  • Masking off the edges, I blended the DI from darker, to lighter, towards  the centre of the frame
  • I blended Cracked Pistachio DO through the Dinkable around opposite corners of the frame
  • Whilst the frame was still masked off, I inked up the Ground Elder in Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet DO and stamped it inside the frame. I also added a hint of Picked Raspberry DO onto the heads of the flowers and re stamped it
  • I stamped the LIFE part of the sentiment across the middle of the stem, in Cracked Pistachio DO and the remainder of the sentiment in black versafine

I hope you like the combination of these stamps and colours.

Love &Hope stamp
Just The Right Words die collection
Detailed Flourish die
Amazing Daisy stamp set

Also used:
Distress Oxides
Distress Inks
Pixie Powders
Versafine ink

For this sample I cut out 3 circles from Scribble Art 12 die set, and the word Beautiful, from the Just The Right Words die collection.
Distress Inks were used to create colour behind the circles and the flourish die changes the look of the circles into flowers
Inking through a stencil adds a bit of depth

Distress Oxides were used with the Abstract Circles stamp set and die. The sentiment is from the Love & Hope stamp set

The background was created using the solid circle stamp, from the Abstract Circles stamp set, with Distress Oxides
The die cut circles are from Scribble Art 12 die set and Art Shapes die set
Thanks is a die from the recently launched Just The Right Words die collection

To create this sample I created a random Pixie powder background
I die cut the circles from the Scribble Art 12 die collection.  I then drew round them on coloured paper, cut them out and adhered them behind the circle die cuts
The black and white circles are the left over cut outs from when I used the Art Shapes die set, on another sample! So don't throw the bits away....
The sentiment is from the Love & Hope stamp set

Love, word stamp set from Stamps By Me

Hi everyone

Hope you're all ok. Anything crafty happening?

I'm delighted to be able to share another sample I made to showcase the new Word stamp sets released by Stamps By Me
These are a set of Stamps containing one large sold Word stamp, and lots of smaller add-on sentiment stamps. I LOVE big fonts so these are an absolutely must have for me lol

For this sample I used the
Love stamp set and incorporated it with the Amazing Daisy stamp set.

This style of card design is one of my favourite at the moment so sorry if you're getting bored of them...😂😂 although for this one I did I slight twist on it..I used a second card blank instead of my usual masking technique

Also used:
6x6 card blank
7x7 card blank
Distress Oxides : Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers
Black Onyx versafine
Clear gems

To make this I laid the 6x6 card blank open flat and stamped the flowers across both the back and front of card blank.
I used my distress inks,  spritzed with water, on the solid stamp.
I decided to stamp the fab Love stamp front and back, then stamp an add-on sentiment on the front only.
To finish I merely adhered this on top of the
7x 7 card blank

Thankyou for taking the time to look through this blog.
