 I'm on my blog with a quick post to show you my latest Art Journal spread 😂
I love the freedom to chuck anything at it..and see where it leads you. I very rarely plan what I'm going to create lol
My first New Years challenge was to start an Art Journal.  The second was to try my hand at watercolouring/painting. For this spread I painted my own Daisies. .. I know they're not great but it's a start lol

I used Acrylic paints for this spread. 

I also used texture paste through some stencils by Bee Crafty (and other ones I had in my stash). The sentiment was also by Bee Crafty.

I sketched the Daisies first then pined them with acrylics

Kind Thoughts word die samples for Stamps By Me

Hello everyone xx

Hope you're having a lovely weekend.  I've been busy sample making.

Today I'd like to share some more of my samples for the newest word dies released by
Stamps By Me 

These are from the Kind Thoughts 2 die set.
A selection of word dies, in a beautiful script font, perfect for all occasions

Distress Oxides

The Splatter Art and Celebrate dies were cut out in various coloured paper. The background was created by putting Squeezed Lemonade, Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks on a mat, spritzing with water and mopping it up on the card.

The Distressed Patterns stamps were inked up in Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron DO.  The Thanks die was cut from black paper and the smaller sentiment was taken from the Thanks stamp set

Kind Thoughts die and Watercolour Flowers by Stamps By Me

Hello everyone

Hope you're all well and have a lovely weekend planned xx

I'm back today with some of my samples for the new Word dies being released by
Stamps By Me .
The Kind Thoughts 2 die set.
Beautiful script style word dies, suitable for many occasions

Also used:
Watercolour Flowers stamp set
Beautiful stamp set
Pixie Powders
Kuretake clean colour pens
Versafine
Coloured paper

The background was created using Pixie powders.
The flowers were stamped in Smokey Grey versafine and coloured in with Kuretake clean colour pens

The flowers were stamped on a white card panel, in black onyx versafine.
The Beautiful die was cut out in the centre of the panel. (Set aside the cut out word for another card).
The panel was backed with red spotty paper and matted on black card.
The stamped sentiment is from the Beautiful stamp set

Watercolour Flowers and Word stamp sets by Stamps By Me

Hi everyone.

Hope you're all well
I'm excited to show you my samples for the gorgeous new Watercolour Flowers and the Words stamp sets by Stamps By Me .
Each stamp set contains one large solid word and lots of add-on smaller sentiments.  I LOVE big fonts so this is a must buy for me.

I used the Just The Right Words Collection die for this sample, as well as the Cross Stitch Frame die. The flower stamps were  coloured in with my kuretake clean colour pens and a water brush

The flowers were stamped and coloured in using the solid stamp and distress oxides, spritzed with water.
The Beautiful word sentiments were stamped and heat embossed in Pearl Green Tourmaline embossing powder, from my crafty stash

The Beautiful die is from the Just The Right Words Collection die set and the add-on sentiment from the Beautiful stamp set. I love how everything works with everything else so seamlessly. I used masking tape to create the panel effect of the stamped flowers

I love this flower design and the Words dies and stamps work beautifully with it,  as well as the sentiments that come with the flower stamp
