Canvas- Tim Holtz Scribbles and Splats die

I wanted to share a canvas I made using
Scribbles and Splats die from Tim Holtz
You stamp set from Julie Hickey

To begin I used texture paste through various TCW stencils to create dimension

Once dry I blended Twisted Citron,  Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean distress inks over the canvas

I used circle stamps from VI in black onyx versafine ink

I die cut the hearts and scribbles and coloured them with the same DI and adhered them to the canvas with pinflair 3d gel

The sentiments were stamped in black onyx versafine ink and cut out before being glued on with pinflair gel.

To finish I added some white dots and highlights with a white gel pen

I hope you like it

Morning crafters

Hope you're all well and looking forward to a crafty day

I'd like to share a DT sample I made using the beautiful
Lovely Lily stamp set available from

To begin I used a square stitched die to create a frame slightly smaller than my 8x8 card blank

I stamped the beautiful Lily in black onyx versafine ink over the background

This was matted onto the card blank and I drew a wiggly line around it with a black pen

I also stamped a second one on a spare piece of white card , coloured the flowers in with the pixie powders and a water brush and then cut the flowers out these were shaped and adhered to card blank to complete

My Favourite Things Doodled Blooms stamp set

Morning crafters

Me again for my weekly Monday morning blog showcasing products available from
www.bumbleberrys.co.uk

Today I'm using the fabulous
Doodled Blooms stamp set

How fun is this stamp set. So much variety and versatility.

To begin with I cut a square of card 6x6 and used my Pixie Powders to create a background

I then stamped the Doodled Blooms using Black Onyx Versafine Ink

Once dry, I coloured in the blooms using my Kuretake Clean Colour pens

The sentiment was then stamped with Black Onyx Versafine ink

This was matted onto some rainbow mirri and adhered to a 7x7 card blank using foam pads

Next I stamped 4 of the blooms onto some white card, coloured them in with my pens, and cut them out

I shaped them using a moulding mat

I adhered 3 of the blooms to the bottom of the card blank and adhered the 4th to the centre of one of my main flower stamps, to add more dimension

To complete this sample I added a couple of clear gems

I hope you love this fun stamp set as much as me.

True Friends stamp set by Stamps By Me

Morning crafters
Any one up to some crafting today? What are you all working on?

I'd like to share a canvas I made yesterday using the beautiful
True Friends stamp set available from
www.stampsbyme.co.uk

I used different stencils and texture paste to create some dimension to the blank canvas

I then blended Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks all over the canvas

Using a mixture of Smokey Grey and Black Onyx Versafine ink I stamped random textures around the canvas, holding each stamp in the palm of my hand. I find this creates a more random distressed effect ideal for mixed media

Versafine black onyx ink was used to stamp the main outline image

Acrylic and Dyna paints were painted onto the solid stamp and these were stamped over the outline image. I heat blasted the flower before repainting and stamping the solid stamp to create more depth and dimension

Gilding wax was dragged from the edges randomly to create a metallic shimmer feel

To finish I highlighted some areas with a white gel pen.

Hope you like today's make

Avery Elle Welcome Home stamp set

Morning crafters

Hope you have a lovely relaxing Sunday xx

Today I'm showing a sample I made using the lovely
Welcome Home stamp set, by Avery Elle and available from
Www.bumbleberrys.co.uk.

A simple but beautiful card to make.
I stamped the roof, door, steps and right hand side window in black onyx versafine ink

I then stamped the potted shrub, masked it off then stamped the window behind it. I also stamped the grass around the steps and pot

The house was coloured in using my Kuretake clean colour pens

I masked off the house, and a strip across the card blank, then blended Dusty Concord and Wilted Violet Distress inks to create a panel. Within the panel I randomly stamped the Welcome Home sentiment in the Dusty Concord  DI.

The masking tapes were removed to reveal the finished sample.

Sending Love stamp set by Stamps By Me

Afternoon.
I made this mdf tag this morning and popped it on my newsfeed so thought I'd pop a quick blog post on explaining how it was made
It's using the new
Sending Love lamination stamp set available from
Www.stampsbyme.co.uk

I drew round the mdf tag on watercolour card and cut it out

I stamped Versmark ink through a dotty stencil and heat embossed with clear embossing powder

Using Squeezed lemonade, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress inks I created a blended, smooshed background all over the card

I stamped the outline stamps in black versafine ink and gave it quick heat blast

I used my kuretake clean colour pens directly onto the solid stamp, spritzing with water first, and stamped over just the centre stamped outline. I restamped it several times using different kuretake colours to create more dimension to the flower

I stamped two of the sentiment stamp in black versafine ink

The watercolour card was then glued to the mdf tag and I used sandpaper around the edges to neaten them

To complete I used my finger to rub gold pebeo gilding wax around the edges of the tag, which I then buffed with a soft cloth

I hope you like my tag

Stamps By Me Flowers For You stamp set

Morning crafters.

How are we all today?

I'd like to share an mdf plaque I've made using the fantastic
Flowers For You stamp set by
Www.stampsbyme

To begin I covered an mdf plaque in white gesso then painted two coats of a mint green paint, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly

I applied some crackle medium thickly over the top and allowed it to completely air dry

I then carefully applied my top blue coat of paint, being careful to post in one direction only, trying to avoid any over stroking

I allowed the "crackling" to occur

Once it was all dry I stamped the Flower For You stamp and the sentiment,  in black onyx versafine ink

Once dry I highlighted areas with a white gel pen and added a few clear gems to complete

I hope you like it
