Life is good

Morning crafters xx

Just thought I'd do a quick blog to show you my latest Art Journal spread.
I decided to try something new for 2019 so got an Art Journal, stared at the blank pages for about a week lol and then just started creating. And I have to say I'm now hooked! Lol.

The other new year challenge was to try watercolouring so for this Art Journal I painted my own flowers. .. 2 new challenges in one go 😂

I used acrylic paints to create the background and a mixture of background stamps and stencils by Stamps By Me and Bee Crafty.

I loved painting the flowers, albeit very hesitantly lol. They were painted onto light watercolour card and cut out

I hope you like today's make and I'll be back soon with some more Art Journal spreads

Wonderful in every way

Morning crafters xx

As it's Thursday,  it's my turn over on the
Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog

Today I'm showcasing the very beautiful
Carnation large flower stamp. I've teamed it up with the gorgeous Swallow ..a gorgeous combination I think x

Also used
Everyday Sentiments 1
Bark - Positive
Sparkle pens
Kuretake clean colour pens

For this sample I took the pens straight to the stamp, applying the ink using the side of my pens, so as not to ruin the hairs
I spritzed with water before stamping the images
Using a water brush, I moved some of the ink around, whilst still wet, to give a watercolour effect
The sentiment was stamped in Vintage Photo DO

I hope you enjoyed today's post and I'll be back next Thursday with another Bee Crafty make

Stamps By Me Stamp and Scratch Congratulations stamp set

Morning crafters.
Hope you're all well and have a lovely day.

Here is a fun card I made using the cute Congratulations stamp set by
  www.stampsbyme.co.uk

I first used my kuretake pens, and water, to create this smooshed watercolour background.

I matted it onto yellow card before using foam pads to attach it to card blank

Using smokey gray versafine ink, I stamped the elephant onto white card then using my kuretake pens and a water brush, i coloured him in.

He was cut out and attached to card blank using foam pads and a sentiment stamped to finish x

Hope you like it and would love to read all your comments.

Stamps By Me Sunflower stamp set

Evening crafters.
Hope you all had a fab Sunday. I've been busy making some samples for a new launch...so watch this space.

In the meantime here's a happy card I made using the delightful Sunflower stamp set available from www.stampsbyme.co.uk

I created a watercolour, smooshed background with distress inks and  kuretake clean colour pens, whilst also using a resist pen to add some swirls.

I then stamped and heat embossed the sunflower and coloured it in using the kuretake pens.

The background was matted onto black card then attached to card blank with foam pads, before adding the sunflower with 3d gel.

The sentiment was stamped in versafine to complete.

Hope you liked it and many thanks for taking the time to look.

Stamps By Me All Things Grow With Love and You stamp set by Julie Hickey

Good morning everyone.
Hope you have a relaxing and crafty filled Sunday x

I'd like to share a card I made using the gorgeous
All Things Grow With Love stamp set by www.stampsbyme.co.uk
And the You sentiment stamp set by Julie Hickey

I stamped the outline flower stamp with versafine black onyx ink, randomly over the bottom of the card blank

I then applied kuretake clean colour pens direct to the solid flower stamp, using a variety of different colours. I wanted them all to be different shades, but have the purple in common.

I spritzed the stamp each time before stamping over the outline stamped images

Using a water brush I added water around the outside of the flowers, then dropped the ink from the glass mat, allowing it to run/smoosh around.

The sentiment was stamped in versafine black onyx ink

I matted some monochromatic paper onto the card blank then used foam pads to adhere the topper.

Thankyou so much for stopping by. Please leave a comment as I read them all

Stamps By Me Ltd Amazing Daisy stamp set

Afternoon everyone.

Wanted to share a couple of cards I've made using a new stamp set I bought from Stamps By Me Ltd

It's called the Amazing Daisy, and aptly named I think!
It's a gorgeous large lamination stamp which consists of an outline stamp and then a solid block stamp of the petals.
The Sentiments on there are beautiful to.

For both of these cards i stamped the images in Versmark ink then used kuretake pens and a water brush to get the beautiful watercolour effect I so love at the moment.

I also smooshed ink around the flowers for added depth.

I hope you like them and please go check out their website for more gorgeous stamps.

Thankyou  xx
