Lustre Luxe: Golden Gate, Sea Green, Moonstone,  Lavender Quartz
Versafine ink
Versmark ink
Heathrough Resistance Acetate
Black embossing powder

Tag Art boards

  • For this sample I covered mdf tag art board with gesso before blending Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet DO all over
  • The skull background was stamped all over in smokey grey versafine ink and the Danger Poison stamps in black onyx versafine
  • The edges were inked in Black Soot DI
  • The skulls were stamped and heat embossed on heat resistant acetate,  cut out and adhered with wet glue
  • Black spider Web completed this sample

  • The canvas Board was inked with a blend of all the brown DI. These were also used through the Inkables and Dinkables to add colour dimension
  • The Moon was stamped in the Moonstone Lustre Luxe
  • I stamped the Pocket Watch,  Ground Elder and Happy Halloween stamps in a combination of the brown DI
  • To add dimension I used Lustre Luxe,  as a texture paste,  through the stencils. I also dragged some Lustre Luxe randomly around the edges of the canvas Board.  This all adds effect and dimension to the canvas
  • The Owl was stamped and heat embossed in black embossing powder,  into heat resistant acetate.  I coloured on the reverse side using Golden Gate and Sea Green Lustre Luxe's.  This was adhered with wet glue, to complete the canvas

  • The Art board was painted with the Lavender Quartz Lustre Luxe
  • I used a wet wipe through the Brick Wall stencil to create a background effect
  • I stamped the Moon in the top left corner in Smokey Grey versafine
  • The edges were stamped with part of the Skull Background stamp, in black onyx versafine, and the Trick or Treat stamped off the edge
  • The Owl was stamped and heat embossed in black embossing powder, on heat resistant acetate and adhered using wet glue
  • To complete I adhered some black spider Web across the base
Well I hope you enjoyed looking through these mixed media samples. I LOVED working with these fabulous stamps and products.  Everything is soo versatile and as you can see, they all work so well together.

I'm off now and I'll see you back on the Bee Crafty blog again next Thursday

Be Glamorous by Stamps By Me

Hi lovely crafters

Hope you're all well. Any plans for today?

My blog for today is using the beautiful new
Be Glamorous stamp set and
Artistic Stitch Frame 1 die, available from Stamps By Me

Also used:
Distress Inks : Spun Sugar, Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn
Distress Oxide : Cracked Pistachio
Acetate
Sequins/beads
Shaker tape
(Stencil/texture stamps)

  • Use the die to cut out an aperture square frame, on white card. Ink around the edge in Tumbled Glass DI. Adhere acetate over the back of this.
  • Adhere shaker tape, on the reverse side, around the aperture and around the edge of the frame
  • Cut a square of white card the same size and using your Distress Inks  ( in any combination of colours), ink them onto a glass mat, spritz with water and drag the card through it, to create a watercolour smooshed background
  • Stamp the sentiment in black onyx versafine
  • Lay sequins/beads of your choice onto the acetate, within the aperture,  and then adhere your smooshed background to the back, to create your "shaker"
  • Using this as a guide, stamp the beautiful Flower, in Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean DI'S, so it appears to be coming from being your shaker component.
  • Add a hint of colour to the flower using a water brush and Distress inks
  • Ink through the Honeycomb stencil and stamp randomly,  using a texture stamp, with the Distress inks
  • Now adhere the shaker component to the right side of your card blank, to complete
I hope you've enjoyed today's post

Good morning everyone xx

How's your day looking. .anything planned?

For this blog I'm sharing  sample I made showcasing the following :
Flower Veins stamp and die
Birthday Sentiments

Also used:
Embossing Powders :
Sapphire Blue Pearl
Kuretake clean colour pens
Distress ink : Chipped Sapphire
Distress Oxide: Cracked Pistachio
Heat resistant acetate
Pearls

  • Cut white card slightly smaller than card blank
  • Stamp the largest flower, and swirls, several times, in the Sapphire Blue Pearl embossing powder,  on heat resistant acetate
  • Stamp and heat emboss the largest flower and smaller flower, on white card
  • Stamp and heat emboss the leaves on white card and colour in with Kuretake clean colour pens
  • These were then cut out using the die,  shaped and assembled to create 3 3d flowers.
  • Using these as a rough guide, stamp more flowers,  in the Chipped Sapphire DI, on the white card, so they will sit behind the 3d flowers. Also stamp a couple coming down from the top of the white card. Leaves and swirls are stamped in the Cracked Pistachio.
  • Glue the card onto the card blank then glue the 3d flowers, swirls and leaves with 3d glue gel

Vision Inkognito and Wake Up Awesome stamp sets by Visible Image

Good morning crafters.
It's Friday. .Yay.  lol xx

Today I wanted to share a card I made using the following :
Vision  Inkognito stamp set (Visible Image )
Wake Up Awesome stamp (Visible Image)
Also used:
Pixie Powders
Heat resistant acetate
Embossing powder : white and black
Versmark ink
Acrylic Paint: white, turquoise
Rainbow mirri

I cut a square of black card, mirri card and black card, all in slightly decreasing sizes

On the smallest mat of black card I created a fun background using Pixie Powders, and I set it to one side to dry

I stamped and heat embossed the Eye, on heat resistant acetate, with black embossing powder

On the reverse side I used white acrylic paint to colour in the "white" of the eye, and Dyna acrylic paints to colour in the iris

On another piece of the acetate I embossed the Wake up Awesome sentiment in white embossing powder

I assembled the mats using wet glue and adhered to card blank with foam pads

I used pinflair gel to attach the eye and sentiment,  ensuring the gel was put on solid areas, so it wouldn't show through the acetate

I hope you like this card..have to say I love the effect I ended up with

Vision Inkognito stamp set by Visible Image

Morning crafters

I've been having a mixed media, messy, inky period of crafting recently so here's one of the cards I made

This is using
Vision Inkognito stamp set (Visible Image )
The Ripple Effect stamp set (Visible Image )
Pixie Powders
Lustre Luxe Lavender Quartz  (Bee Crafty)
Black onyx versafine ink
Smokey Grey versafine ink

To begin I cut some black card smaller than card blank and a white piece slightly smaller than that.

On the white card i created a bright background using Pixie powders then inked the edge of my card with Lavender Quartz Lustre Luxe, to create a beautiful shimmer effect

I stamped the large stamp, and the little circles stamp, from The Ripple Effect,  randomly around the edge of the card in black onyx versafine ink

The sentiment was also stamped in the black ink

This was adhered to black card then attached to card blank with foam pads

On some heat resistant acetate,  I stamped the Eye in Versmark ink and heat embossed using black embossing powder

On the reverse side of the acetate I highlighted the "white" of the eye with with acrylic paint. I left the iris clear as I wanted the shimmer of the pixie powders to dhow through.

I adhered the acetate eye using pinflair glue gel,  ensuring I only added it to the solid parts of the image, so it wouldn't be seen through the acetate

I hope you like my card for today.

For The Love of Stamps Dino Friends stamp set

Morning crafters.
Hope everyone is well and keeping warm in this chilly weather.

Wanted to share a card I made using the cute Dino Friends stamp set from
Www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

Having worked out where I wanted the volcano to go..I cut a triangle shape up to the top of the card then put acetate behind it. I smooshed acrylic paint on the reverse of the acetate and added another piece to squash it (excuse the technical terms lol)

I created the background using distress inks then stamped and coloured in my dinosaurs. I also stamped and coloured some of the eggs and leaves and cut these out.

I mounted these onto a card blank using foam pads, gluing the eggs and leaves around the topper.

The sentiment was added together with a few pearls. And a squiggly line drawn to frame the card to complete x

Hope you like it

Honey Doo Crafts Little Lilies and Leaves, Dream Sentiments stamp set

Morning crafters.

Sharing another of my first samples as guest designer on the Honey Doo DT.

I've used the
Little Lilies and Leaves stamp set
Dream Sentiments stamp set
Www.honeydoocrafts.co.uk

I cut the front off a card blank, leaving a strip at the top. I adhered acetate to the back of the strip to create an acetate front card blank. Using the cut off card stock,  I cut another strip and added this to the bottom of the acetate panel.

The flowers and leaves  were stamped and then coloured with Promarkers before being cut out.

These were then adhered along the top and bottom of the card strips , so they overlapped onto the acetate.

The sentiment was stamped and matted and then attached to the middle of the acetate.

Thankyou for popping by and would love you to follow my blog to see all my future design team makes, as well as my own cards and crafts.

For the Love of Stamps Enjoy the Journey stamp set acetate card

Hi crafters

Sharing a simple acetate card using the new biplane stamp set launched  by For The Love of Stamps By www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

I cut off the front of the card blank leaving a small strip at the top, before attaching  acetate behind.  I then attached another strip of card at the base of the acetate panel.
The biplanes were stamped and heat embossed onto heat resistant acetate, then set to one side
The stamps were used to add effect to the card strips at the top and bottom of the card blank, using distress inks and a water brush, to give a watercolour effect.
I cut some of the paper from a Background Paper Pad to the size of the card blank, then stamped  the clouds randomly, in a coordinating ink. This was glued to the inside of the card blank.
The acetate planes were attached across the acetate panel to complete.
Thanks for stopping by.. would love to read yr comments.
