Hope everyone is well and had a good weekend
I'm back again for my regular weekly Monday morning blog for
www.bumbleberrys.co.uk
Today I'm showcasing the fabulous
Ocean Pals stamp set. This is such a cute and versatile stamp set and can be used in conjunction with many of the other stamp sets available on the website
To begin a cut a piece of cardstock slightly smaller than the card A5 card blank
I used Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet Distress inks to create a blended background. I added droplets of water which I lifted off with kitchen towel and I used the Wilted Violet DI through a dotty stencil
Using a circle die, I cut out 3 circles
The circles were adhered directly onto card blank with wet glue, once the remainder of the background had been adhered with foam pads
A black pen was used to create wiggly lines round the edge of the card blank
I stamped a variety of the Ocean Pals onto white card, coloured them in using my Kuretake Clean Colour pens, and a water brush.
These were cut out and adhered to the inserted circles, using wet glue
The sentiment was stamped in Black Onyx Versafine Ink and cut up into 2 before adhering to card with foam pads
A few clear gems completed this sample
I hope you like this stamp set as much as I do
