Hope, balance and good luck

Hi everyone xx

Hope you're all well and have a lovely day planned xx

I thought I'd share a card I made using one of my favourite collection of stamps. The Circles of Light Collection by Stamps By Me. ..such unique, beautiful and versatile stamps.
For this sample I used the gorgeous Feather

Also used:

Distress Oxides : Wilted Violet, Iced Spruce
Versafine : Smokey Grey and Black onyx
Feather and heart stencils from my crafty stash
Black micron pen

I blended the Wilted Violet DO through a large heart stencil and then through a small hearts stencil
The gorgeous Feather was stamped in black onyx versafine
I added some depth by blending Iced Spruce DO lightly through a feather stencil
I drew round the heart with a black micron pen and added a few dots, to tie it in with the stamped image
Once dry I matted it onto black card and then adhered to card blank

I hope you enjoyed today's make and love this gorgeous Feather stamp as much as I do

Did you have a good weekend?

I'm back today with another make for
Bumbleberry Papercrafts

Kuretake clean colour pens
Versafine : Smokey Grey,  Black onyx
Frosted Lace Stickles

I stamped the jar and coloured it in with Kuretake clean colour pens
The flowers and leaves were stamped in Smokey Grey versafine, on a seperate piece of card.  I coloured them in with my pens and cut them out
I stamped the bees, trails and the sentiment in Versafine
To complete I added some Frosted Lace stickles to the centre of the flowers and on the Bees wings

I hope you'll agree this is such a sweet and versatile stamp set

Skull verses nature's beauty

Good morning 😊😊

Been playing with my  Bee Crafty stamps and thought I'd blog what I made for you xx

I combined the darkness of the Skull with the beauty of nature, and the gorgeous Ground Elder. How well do they go together. ..

Stamps used:
Skull
BEAUtanicals: Ground Elder
Life &Rain
Cogs

Also used:
Distress Oxides: Fossilized Amber, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet,
Vintage Sepia versafine

  • I cut some white card slightly smaller than my card blank and a piece of kraft card slightly smaller than this.  I set the white card mat to one side
  • I stamped the skull in the versafine ink and then masked it off, together with a horizontal panel
  • Within the panel I blended Fossilized Amber DO
  • I spritzed the cog stamp with water, stamped it into the DO, holding it there for a few seconds, before lifting it off. This gives a water bleach type stamped image. I repeated this several times
  • I then stamped the Cogs in Wilted Violet and Peacock Feathers DO
  • I carefully removed the masking tape
  • The flowers were also stamped in the DO's as well as the sentiment,  which I stamped in two parts
  • This was then adhered to white card mat and then onto card blank to complete the sample

I hope you enjoyed today's blog

Pocket Watch, Owl and cogs stamp sets by Bee Crafty

Hello everyone xxx

Hope you're all good and have a lovely day planned.

I'm back with my weekly blog for
Bee Crafty. I'm showcasing the beautiful Time stamp sets again.  Love these,  so versatile and can be for men and woman alike
Stamp sets used :
Pocket Watch
Cogs
TIME
Owl
Birds On A Wire

Also used:
Inkables Template : Brick wall
Dinkables Template : Chain Link
Distress Oxides  : Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, Fossilized Amber
Black onyx versafine ink

  • To begin I cut two squares of white card, in decreasing size, slightly smaller than my card blank
  • I inked the Pocket Watch in Black onyx versafine ink
  • I then inked through the two templates in the Fossilized Amber and Peacock Feathers
  • The Pocket Watch was then masked off
  • The cogs were stamped in all three Distress Oxides,  ensuring some were stamped over the masking sheet. This would create the effect of sitting behind the Pocket Watch
  • I then removed the mask and stamped two cogs over the edge of the Pocket Watch, to give the illusion of sitting in front of it
  • The Owl and Birds On A Wire were stamped in the black versafine,  off the edges of the card
  • To complete I stamped the TIME section of the sentiment stamp in the Peacock Feathers
I love the versatility of all the Time stamp sets and love creating depth and dimension using the masking technique

I hope you've enjoyed looking through today's post. I'll be back again same time next week with another Bee Crafty make

Pocket Watch, TIME and Time Flies stamps by Bee Crafty

Hi ... I'm back again

Here's another card I made whilst playing with my stamps from Bee Crafty and this card is based around a DT sample I made for the Time Hochanda show. I loved how it came out so I thought I'd make a slight variation to it

I used the following stamp sets :
Pocket Watch
TIME
Time Flies

Also used:
Inkables Template: Circles
Dinkable Template: Chainlink
Distress Oxides  : Peacock Feathers, Fossilized Amber
Smokey Grey versafine ink

  • I cut a panel of black card and a slightly smaller panel of white card
  • The Pocket Watch was stamped in Smokey Grey versafine ink off the edge of the left hand side of the card panel
  • Masking off the Pocket Watch,  I inked Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide through the Circles Inkable
  • I repeated this with the Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide through the Dinkable Chainlink template
  • Keeping the mask in place, I stamped the various cogs, in the Distress Oxides, in a random manner around the Pocket Watch
  • The mask was then removed
  • I inked up the TIME section of the sentiment only, in the Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide and stamped it in a graduated pattern down the right hand side
  • This was then adhered to the black card and adhered to card blank with wet glue
  • To complete I inked up the Time Flies section only, of the sentiment and stamped it in the Smokey Grey versafine ink
I hope you like the use of these stamps and please check out the Bee Crafty website for lots more fabulous products
