To The Moon and Back Tag

Morning everyone xx

So it's my turn on the Bee Crafty blog today and I have an MDF door hanger to share with you using one of the gorgeous Journaling Girls, Cheer. xx

Also used:
Journaling Blocks
Art Journal Borders
Dinkables
Distress Oxides
Acrylic Paint
Sparkle Pens
Alcohol Markers
White/black Gel Pen

To begin I painted the MDF with Acrylic Paints then stamped one of the Journal Borders top and bottom

I coloured in the circles with sparkle pens.
I stamped some of the embellishment stamps in Distress Oxides and blended the same colour through the Hearts Dinkable.

I then used Versafine to stamp the hearts and decorative lines, from the stamp set.

To add depth I used a black and white pen to add highlights, and accents on the circles and flowers.

I stamped the girl, in Memento, on a piece of super smooth card, coloured her with Alcohol Markers and cut her out.

I also stamped out one of the Journaling Blocks, wrote my own message on it, and cut it out.

I adhered both to the MDF to complete my make.

I hope you liked todays post and I'll be back again soon

Bee Monarchy

Morning everyone xx

I'm on the Bee Crafty blog today with a spread from my Art Journal using the fabulous
Bee Monarchy collection 😁

Products used:

Ticker Tape Stamps
Crackle stamp
Distress Oxides
Dinkables

To begin I smooshed Distress Oxides across  my Art Journal pages.
I blended one of the Oxides randomly through the Honeycomb Dinkable

Using the other Oxide colour I randomly blended through the Brick Wall Dinkable

I stamped the Honeycomb embellishment stamp and the Crackle stamp, around the spread in Black Soot Oxide.

The Bees were stamped on to a piece of card, coloured in with sparkle pens, cut out and adhered to the pages

The Ticker Tape Sentiments were then stamped, cut out and glued in place and to finish I drew a wiggly frame around the double spread.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks post.

Bloom

Morning everyone.

I'm over on the Bee Crafty blog today with my latest Art Journal pages, using the fabulous Journaling Girls. Love the freedom my Art Journal gives, anything goes, just let your creativity flow xx

Products used:
Journaling Girls: Cheer, Sassy
Inks
Sparkle pens

To create the background I put some drops of coloured ink on a glass mat, picked them up with a wet piece of cloth and dragged them across the pages. I did this several times, in different directions to create this effect.

I stamped the embellishments randomly across the pages using Black Onyx Versafine and Faded Jean's Distress  Oxides.

I stamped some of the Just Bloom flowers randomly across the bottom.

The Journaling Girls and a Block were stamped on card, coloured in, cut out and adhered to the page. (The Sentiment was stamped in Black Onyx Versafine on the Block, before adhering it).

I also stamped some of the flowers on a piece of card, coloured them in with my sparkle pens, cut them out and adhered them on top of the stamped images, to create more dimension.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and I'll see you again soon

Why, Art Journal spread

Morning everyone xx

I'm over on the Bee Crafty blog today with a spread from my Art Journal.
I wanted to use my Doodle Art stamps, but had no specific idea in mind, so I just went for it, and this was the end result lol. That's what I love about my Art Journal, the freedom to just create...

Products used:
Doodle Art stamp sets
Big One - Inkable - Chrysanthemum
Ticker Tape 2 Sentiments
Sparkle pens from my Crafty stash

Having gessoed my pages first, I blended Distress Oxides randomly through the Chrysanthemums Big One Inkable. I wasnt careful and I applied different pressures, to create depth and dimension.

I stamped all the Doodle flowers, from all the different sets I had, randomly across the bottom of the pages.

The Butterfly was then stamped twice, going off the edge of the page, again to add dimension and perspective.

I used a couple of the small embellishment stamps, from some of the sets, randomly across the spread, including the splatter of dots one, around the flowers.

I then coloured in using my sparkle pens. I wanted a watercolour effect to this spread, so I coloured in very loosely, leaving white spaces, going over the edges, and blending colours together. I love how this technique gives a completely different look to a more precise, neat colouring technique.

The Ticker Tape sentiment was stamped on white card, cut out and adhered, to complete my spread.

I hope you liked it, it was a lot of fun to create.
Until next time,

LIFE Tag

Morning xx

My turn over on the Bee Crafty blog and I have an MDF tag for you, using the gorgeous Birds on A Wire and Wildflowers xx

Also used:
Versafine
Ticker Tape
Ink Sprays

Here is the completed tag 😁

To begin I sprayed the tag with various ink sprays, including some Dylusions ones.

Once dry I stamped the Wildflowers first and second generation, in both Black Onyx and Smokey Grey Versafine. This adds depth and dimension.

I then stamped the beautiful Birds on a Wire in the Black Onyx Versafine.

To complete I stamped and heat embossed the Ticker Tape sentiment then adhered with 3d glue gel.

I hope you liked todays make and I'll see you all again soon.

Also used:
Journaling girl- Cheer Sassy
Acrylic paint
White Posca pen
Versafine

Travel Words

To begin I Gessoed the pages and then applied Acrylic Paints randomly over the spread. I then drew random white circles with my white Posca pen

I used a black pen and drew very loosely around the circles,  to make them pop.

I stamped some of the small embellishment stamps from the Journaling Girls collection, around the pages, in black onyx Versafine

The Journaling Girls were stamped on super smooth card and coloured in with my Alcohol Markers. I also stamped out the Journaling Blocks and stamped some of the Travel Words on them.
These were then cut out and adhered to the pages, to complete this weeks make.

Petunia MDF Tag

Morning 😁

Its Thursday which means I'm over on the
Bee Crafty blog today.
I decided to make an MDF tag and use the gorgeous Pointilism Petunia stamp, which I havnt played with in a while. Xx

Also used:
Crackle Paint stamp
Distress Oxides
Honeycomb Dinkable
Gilding Wax

To begin I blended 3 Distress Oxides directly on to the MDF tag. They cover beautifully without the need to Gesso first.
I randomly applied one of the Distress Oxides through the Honeycomb Dinkable, to add subtle texture.
Holding the Crackle Paint stamp in the palm of my hand, I randomly stamped over small areas of the tag. I find holding it in my hand gives a more distressed and subtle look.
I added a hint of gold Gilding Wax around the edge of the tag.
Once the tag was dry I stamped the gorgeous Petunia in Black Onyx Versafine.
A satin ribbon completed my tag

I hope you enjoyed todays make and I'll be back again soon

Laugh loud

Hello everyone xx

On the Bee Crafty blog today I'm sharing a card I made using the fabulous Time Measure stamp. I've combined it with the Trio of Butterflies..gorgeous xxx

Also used:
Texture, film strip and circles
Ledger Measure
Ticker Tape 2
Distress  Oxides
Dinkables

I created the background using Distress Oxides, the Ledger Measure stamp and the Metal Alpha Dinkable. I used my Gelli Plate, but you can obtain a similar background without, by doing each layer separately.

Once dry I stamped the Time Measure, and several butterflies, in Smokey Grey Versafine.
I brushed over the butterflies with my clear sparkle pen.

The Sentiments were stamped on a separate piece of card, cut up and adhered with 3d glue gel.

I adhered my finished design on to my card blank, to complete this week's make.

Many thanks for taking time to look at today's post...please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
