Friendship

Morning crafters xx

I'm back on the Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog today with a card I made using the gorgeous Scenery Animal Tiger stamp. I adore this beautiful arty image

Products also used :
Friendship stamp set
Silhouette Tree: Deciduous
Distress Oxides
Black onyx versafine
White gel pen

I used masking tape across the card blank then blended various distress oxides in a sunburst type pattern
I then removed the tape and used the same colours to finish off the background
I splattered droplets of water and dried off with heat gun
Highlights were added with a white gel pen
I stamped my trees in Smokey Grey and Black onyx versafine
The beautiful Tiger was stamped in black onyx versafine,  having first masked off the birds
I then inked the birds up from both this, and the other Scenery Animals stamps, and stamped them randomly in the sky
The Friendship stamp was also masked off before stamping in the black versafine,  to complete my card

I hope you enjoyed today's make and I'll be back next Thursday with another Bee Crafty make for you all

Daisy Display stamp with Mica and heat embossing technique

Hello everyone
How are you? Any plans for today?
I'm back today with a couple of cards I made to showcase the very pretty
Daisy Display stamp set by Honey Doo Crafts

Also used:
Life Events stamp
Friendship Quotes stamp
Birthday Sentiments stamp
Mica Powders
Embossing powder
Gold gel pen
Clear gems

To create the background, behind the circle aperture, I spritzed some card with water then brushed Tangerine Fizz and Pink Sapphire Mica Powders over it. The flourish from the Birthday Sentiments stamp set was inked in Versmark and stamped on the background then more of the mica powders were brushed over the stamped images
The flowers were stamped and heat embossed in gold then cut out and adhered around the aperture
The sentiment is from Life Events and was also heat embossed in gold

The flowers were stamped and heat embossed in Green Tourmaline Pearl embossing powder and coloured in with Lime Zest and Raspberry Ripple Mica Powders,  mixed with a little water
The sentiment from the Friendship Quotes was stamped in black onyx versafine with a few random flowers stamped around it

I hope you have enjoyed today's post

Falling Flowers- Versmark/Mica dry brush technique

Hello everyone 😊

Hope you're all well and have a lovely day planned. . Will it involve crafting? Lol

I'm back today with a couple of cards made to showcase the beautiful
Falling Flowers stamp set available from
Honey Doo Crafts

Also used :
Birthday Sentiments stamp set
Friendship Quotes stamp set
Mica Powders
Embossing powder
Distress Oxide
Versafine
Versmark
Gel pen

For this sample I used the Versmark resist technique.
The Falling Flowers and Birthday sentiment, were stamped and heat embossed in white and matted onto white card
The Falling Flowers were then randomly stamped, coming down from the top of the open card blank, in Versmark and then brushed over with White Opal mica powder. The Versmark grabs hold of the mica and creates this beautiful soft image.
With this technique you need to "set" the image with spray/cheap hairspray

The panel was masked off with tape, then Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide was blended within it
The Falling Flowers and Friendship sentiment were stamped in black onyx versafine

I hope you've enjoyed today's makes using this gorgeous stamp set

Many thanks for popping by

Pocket Watch and BEAUtanicals stamp sets by Bee Crafty

Afternoon  everyone xx

Been having a "play" with some of my gorgeous stamps from Bee Crafty and thought I'd blog this card
I used the following stamp sets :
Pocket Watch
BEAUtanicals Wildflower
BEAUtanicals Ground Elder
Friendship

Also used:
Distress Oxides : Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry
Distress Inks   : Worn Lipstick
Inkables Tempate Brick Wall
Smokey Grey versafine ink

  • To begin I cut two pieces of white card, in decreasing size, slightly smaller than card blank
  • On the smallest mat I inked through the Brick Wall template in the Worn Lipstick Distress ink
  • The Pocket Watch was stamped in Smokey Grey versafine ink in the centre of the card
  • Using the Twisted Citron Distress Oxide, I stamped the Wildflower stamp, randomly across the left side of the page
  • I inked up the Ground Elder stamp in the Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide and again stamped it randomly. I also did second generation stamping, ie stamping a second time without reinking the stamp. This adds the effect of light and shade
  • The Friendship part of the sentiment stamp was inked up and stamped in the Smokey Grey versafine ink
  • I then assembled the layers of my card using wet glue
I love the combination of all these stamp sets. I hope you do to.
Thankyou for taking the time to have a look at todays play

Birds On A Wire and BEAUtanicals Wildflower 2 by Bee Crafty

Hello everyone x

It's me back with my weekly DT blog for
Bee Crafty over on their blog
Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the following stamps
Birds On A Wire
BEAUtanicals Wildflower 2
Friendship

Also used :
Distress Oxides   : Picked Raspberry
Distress Inks  : Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Cracked Pistachio, Wilted Violet
Black onyx versafine ink

  •  I cut a panel of pink card and a slightly smaller panel of white card, that would mat vertically down the side of my 8x8 card blank
  • Using masking tape I masked of a smaller panel on the white card
  • I inked up an acrylic block with the 4 distress inks and spritzed with water then I stamped over the masked panel
  • Keeping the masking tape on, I stamped the Birds On A Wire in black onyx versafine ink
  • I removed the tape and stamped the Friendship part of the stamp across the bottom.  I adhered this to the pink card panel
  • Using this panel as I guide I stamped the flowers onto the card blank, in the Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide and the Black onyx versafine ink,  so they looked like they were tucked under the panel, which I then adhered to the card blank with wet glue
  • The remainder of the Friendship stamp was stamped in black onyx versafine ink onto a piece of card, cut down and matted onto some of the pink card
  • This was adhered with foam pads to complete this sample
I hope you like this week's sample showcasing these beautiful products.

Thankyou for stopping by

Friendship and Moon stamp sets by Bee Crafty

Good morning crafters

Where has the time flown. Half way through the summer holidays already!!

Today I thought I'd share a card I made, not a DT sample this time lol

I love the Moon stamp! So versatile and can be combined with any stamps. I wanted a simple CAS card so here's what I made

Moon stamp
Friendship stamp

Also used:
Leaf stamp from my stash
Distress Oxide: Iced Spruce
Distress Ink: Broken China,  Tumbled Glass
Smokey Grey versafine ink
Black onyx versafine ink

  • Cut a square of black card and a square of white card slightly smaller than card blank. Set black mat to one side
  • Mask off a horizontal panel
  • Stamp the Moon in Iced Spruce DO.
  • Leaving mask on blend the Distress inks in the panel
  • I used a damp piece of kitchen towel to blot off some ink, to create a cloudy effect
  • The leaves were stamped off the edge in Smokey Grey versafine
  • Remove the masking tape
  • Stamp the Friendship stamp in black onyx versafine so part of it goes across the inked panel
  • Assemble card using wet glue
I hope you like this quick CAS card , which if used in different colours ways, can be for male or female

Flower Fountain and Friendship Quotes by Honey Doo Crafts

Good morning everyone

Hope you're all ok and looking forward to a crafty weekend. ..I am 😊😊

Today I'm sharing a DT sample for
Honey Doo Crafts

For this sample I've used
Flower Fountain
Friendship Quotes

Also used:
Glossy photo paper
Distress Oxides : Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet, Iced Spruce
Black onyx versafine ink
White gel pen

  • I cut a square of white card slightly smaller than my card blank and set it aside
  • To create this background I "dragged" my Distress Oxide ink pads randomly across an a4 sheet of glossy photo paper, in different directions!  So easy but I loved the effect it gave me. Once dry I cut the back ground slightly smaller than my black card mat
  • I stamped both the Flower Fountain and the sentiment in the versafine ink then adhered this to the black card and then onto the card blank
  • I also stamped the flower Fountain on some of the leftover back ground, and cut out the flowers which were then shaped and adhered onto the card with 3d glue gel
  • To finish I drew around the edges with a white gel pen

Morning xx
How's your weekend going? Been busy crafting?

I'm using:
Mystical Flowers
Friendship Quotes
Bee Whatever You Want To Bee

Also used:
Distress Inks : Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade
Black onyx versafine ink
Rainbow Mirri

  • I cut a square of rainbow mirri slightly smaller than my 7x7 card blank, and a slightly smaller square of white card
  • Setting the mirri mat aside, I masked a panel on the white mat
  • Using my distress inks I blended strips across the panel, ensuring I had a smooth blend between each colour.  I like to use smoochies as I find they give a smoother blend
  • Whilst the masking tape was still in place, I stamped some of the smaller stamps randomly within the panel, in black onyx versafine ink
  • I also stamped the bees and sentiment in the versafine ink
  • I adhered this to the mirri mat and then onto the card blank,  using wet glue
  • On a seperate piece of card I stamped the flowers in the versafine ink and once dry, I coloured them in using my distress inks and a water brush
  • The flowers were adhered to card using pinflair 3d gel, to complete this sample
