Mystical Flowers from Honey Doo Crafts

Good morning crafters xx
How are you all?
It's the first week of my summer holidays so enjoying the lack of alarm clocks and early mornings lol.

For today's post I'd like to share a DT sample I made using the gorgeous
Mystical Flowers
Birthday Sentiments

by Honey Doo Crafts

Also used:
Vellum
Black onyx versafine ink
Distress Oxides : Fossilized Amber,  Worn Lipstick
Versmark ink
Black embossing powder

  • To prepare my card blank I cut off a strip from the front, and drew two black lines on the inside page to create a visible panel, when the card blank is closed
  • I masked off the panel, to allow me to stamp some of the smaller images within it. I then used a water brush and the Distress Oxides to add a hint of colour
  • I stamped the main flowers onto vellum with Versmark ink and heat embossed in black
  • Using a water brush I coloured in the flowers on the reverse side of the vellum, spritzing with water and drying with a paper towel
  • These were cut out, shaped and assembled to make the flowers
  • Placing the flowers where I wanted them , I drew in the stems with a black pen and then adhered the flowers with 3d gel
  • I stamped the sentiment and the butterflies from the same set, in black onyx versafine ink to complete my sample
Thankyou for taking the time to look at today's post. Don't forget to check out the Honey Doo website for lots more fabulous products

Mystical Flowers from Honey Doo Crafts

Morning everyone  xx

First day of my summer holidays...Yay 😊

For today's post I'm sharing another of my DT samples for the beautiful
Mystical Flowers
Friendship Quotes

from Honey Doo Crafts

Also used:
Distress Oxides: Cracked Pistachio, Wilted Violet
Distress Inks: Cracked Pistachio
Smokey Grey versafine ink
Clear gems

  • I cut some white card smaller than my 7x5 card blank and inked it with the Cracked Pistachio DI,  blending it from dark at the top to lighter towards the bottom.
  • The sentiment was stamped in Smokey Grey versafine ink,  together with one of the little flowers
  • This was adhered to card blank with wet glue
  • The flowers and leaves were stamped in smokey grey versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder
  • They were coloured in, on the reverse, with the Distress Oxides
  • They were then cut out, shaped and assembled into 3d flowers before adhering to card blank with pinflair gel glue
  • Pearls and clear gems finished off this sample
I hope you enjoyed looking through this post

Mystical Flowers and Friendship Quotes by Honey Doo Crafts

Morning xx
How's your weekend going? Been busy crafting?

Today I'm showcasing another of my DT samples for the new stamps by www.honeydoocrafts.co.uk
Make sure you tune in to Hochanda tomorrow, the 17th July, to catch Amanda showcasing all her new stamps as well as other gorgeous products

I'm using:
Mystical Flowers
Friendship Quotes
Bee Whatever You Want To Bee

Also used:
Distress Inks : Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade
Black onyx versafine ink
Rainbow Mirri

  • I cut a square of rainbow mirri slightly smaller than my 7x7 card blank, and a slightly smaller square of white card
  • Setting the mirri mat aside, I masked a panel on the white mat
  • Using my distress inks I blended strips across the panel, ensuring I had a smooth blend between each colour.  I like to use smoochies as I find they give a smoother blend
  • Whilst the masking tape was still in place, I stamped some of the smaller stamps randomly within the panel, in black onyx versafine ink
  • I also stamped the bees and sentiment in the versafine ink
  • I adhered this to the mirri mat and then onto the card blank,  using wet glue
  • On a seperate piece of card I stamped the flowers in the versafine ink and once dry, I coloured them in using my distress inks and a water brush
  • The flowers were adhered to card using pinflair 3d gel, to complete this sample
I hope you like my use of these new flower stamps which are so pretty, and very versatile

Check out the website for lots of fab products and dont for get to watch Amanda on the 17th

Mystical Flowers stamp set by Honey Doo Crafts

Good morning crafters

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to a lovely weekend

Today I'm sharing one of my DT samples showcasing the gorgeous
Mystical Flowers stamp set
Dream Sentiments stamp set
Both available from Honey Doo Crafts

Also used:
Black onyx versafine ink
Kuretake clean colour pens

To begin I cut some black and white card in decreasing sizes

The flowers were stamped randomly all over the white card in the black onyx versafine ink

Once dry I coloured them in using my Kuretake clean colour pens

I adhered this to the black card

A strip of white card,  and a slightly wider strip of black card were cut to fit across the stamped card

The sentiment was stamped on the white strip in black onyx versafine ink and then adhered to the black strip

The card was assembled using wet glue

I hope you like this sample which shows another way of using these gorgeous stamps
