For The Love of Stamps Home in a Dome stamp set

Hi everyone.

Sharing my last DT sample using the gorgeous  jar/toadstool house stamp set from For The Love of Stamps by  www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

I stamped the jar onto a card blank, keeping the left handside near to the spine to create the card blank fold. I cut out the jar.
The jar was subtly watercoloured to create the impression of glass. The toadstool house and plant were stamped and coloured using acrylic paints. I stamped the dragonflies and sentiment in black versafine.
The grasses were stamped onto a paper from the Perfectly Natural Background paper pad and cut out before using 3d glue gel to stick onto the card
Thankyou for taking the time to look at my blog. I love to read all your comments and hope you're happy to "follow " my blog to see all my future makes.

For the Love of Stamps Enjoy the Journey stamp set acetate card

Hi crafters

Sharing a simple acetate card using the new biplane stamp set launched  by For The Love of Stamps By www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

I cut off the front of the card blank leaving a small strip at the top, before attaching  acetate behind.  I then attached another strip of card at the base of the acetate panel.
The biplanes were stamped and heat embossed onto heat resistant acetate, then set to one side
The stamps were used to add effect to the card strips at the top and bottom of the card blank, using distress inks and a water brush, to give a watercolour effect.
I cut some of the paper from a Background Paper Pad to the size of the card blank, then stamped  the clouds randomly, in a coordinating ink. This was glued to the inside of the card blank.
The acetate planes were attached across the acetate panel to complete.
Thanks for stopping by.. would love to read yr comments.

For The Love of Stamps Enjoy the journey stamp set

Sharing another DT sample for the new stamps released from For The Love of Stamps By www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

I die cut two circles out of two pieces of layered card stock to create an enlarging aperture.
Putting these to one side I then inked a "sky" background onto the card blank, where the apertures were going to sit. I stamped the clouds and then using a water brush, I bleached some of the ink out to create the cloud effect
I stamped and heat embossed the plane and compass onto heat resistant acetate, and used the smaller stamps to embellish the front piece of card stock.  I edged all mats with gilding wax before assembling the sample.

For the Love of Stamps Home in a Dome and Fairy Sparkles stamp set

Hi everyone

Sharing another DT sample using the cute toadstool house stamp set from For The Love of Stamps By www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

The jar lid was masked off then stamped onto white card, adding a hint of blue shading.  This was placed to one side.
I created the scene using distress inks then stamped the toadstool and small embellishment stamps in versafine and coloured in using inks.
I stamped a fairy from the Fairy Sparkles stamp set (already released on a previous launch) to compete the scene, before attaching my jar to the topper as required. I trimmed off the overhang of the jar before matting and layering the topper. This was then attached to the card blank.
The sentiment was stamped, put on a mat then attached to the sample to complete this card.
