Pocket Watch tag

Hi everyone xx

I'm over on the Bee Crafty blog today with a tag I made using the Pocket Watch stamp  as a focal image xx

Also used:
Compass 2 Inkable
Bubblewrap
Distress Oxides: faded Jeans, peacock feathers, iced spruce, black soot

To begin my project I blended the 3 Distress Oxides randomly over the tag.
Using some diluted bleach I dabbed through the Compass Inkable, to create a washed out effect.
I applied Black Soot to a piece of Bubblewrap and stamped it randomly around the tag.
To finish I stamped the Pocket Watch off the edge of the tag then attached some ribbon.

I hope you liked todays make. See you again soon

Don't believe everything

Morning crafters

As it's a Thursday I'm on the Bee Crafty blog. For this weeks post I'm sharing a page from my Art Journal,  using the lovely Ledger Measure stamp set. I love the freedom of playing in my journal as I just let my creativity flow and see where I end up xx

Also used:
Metal Work Inkable
Dinkables
Distress Inks
Ticker Tape Sentiments stamp set
Random Numbers stamp set

To begin I added some white gesso to my page and dried it off. This gives me a lovely base for any mediums I wish to throw at it lol.

I inked through the Metal Work Inkable, randomly on the page, in a Distress Ink.

I then did the same in another colour, using the Circles Dinkable.

With the same Distress Ink, I randomly stamped some of the Random Numbers off the edge of my page, to add more depth.

The beautiful Ledger Measure was inked up with Black Onyx Versafine and stamped off the page slightly.

To finish I stamped, cut up and adhered a Ticker Tape Sentiment to the page, then drew some wiggly lines, in a black pen, to frame my page.

I hope you liked todays creativity and I'll be back again soon.

Dreams come true

Hey everyone xx

Any plans for today?
I'm on the Bee Crafty blog today with a card I made using the utterly beautiful Swallow stamp xx

Also used:
Wildflower 1
Inspirational Words 1
Distress Oxides
Dinkables
Gelli Plate

I created my background using my Gelli Plate. (However you can create a similar effect, blending Distress Oxides, and stamping each layer separately  using the Circle Easy Frame Inkable).
I inked up my Gelli Plate with Distress Oxides, blending through the Honeycome Dinkable, and stamping the Wildflower randomly on the plate.
Then I applied my plate to the front of my card blank. I printed a second generation print from it on the lower right of the card blank.
The Swallow, and Sentiment was stamped in Smokey Grey Versafine.
To complete I used my clear Sparkle pen  to add a hint of sparkle to my Swallow xx

I hope you enjoyed today's make. See you again soon.

Don't look backwards

Hi lovely crafters xx

First of all I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy New Year. I hope 2020 brings you joy, happiness, and lots of crafty goodies 🤣

Over on the Bee Crafty blog today I've a couple of ATC's I made using the beautiful tall Teasel.
I had an urge to get all my stamps out and see where the mood took me, and I ended up with these ATC'S.  Lol.

Also used:
Dinkables
Distress Oxides
Script stamp
Ticker Tape stamps
Distressed Diamonds stamp
White embossing powder

To begin I used Versmark sticky ink to stamp the Distressed Diamonds, then heat embossed in white.  This acted as a resist.
I blended Distress Oxides over the ATC'S,  drying each layer before blending the next one.
I used the same colours through the Honeycomb Dinkable.

I randomly stamped parts of the script stamp, in the darkest Oxide. When stamping randomly I like to hold the stamp in my hand, I find it gives a more distressed random effect.
The beautiful Teasel was then stamped in Smokey grey Versafine

To complete my ATC'S I stamped my Ticker Tape Sentiments, cut them out and adhered with glue gel.

Well I hope you liked the results of my random, free thinking Crafty session lol.
Until next time.

Get Christmassy with Doodle Art

Morning xx

Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas Day? I was lucky to spend it with my beautiful family xxx

I've been getting a bit festive with my Doodle Art sets. These make such fun and festive Christmas cards and here are a selection of cards for today's weekly Bee Crafty blog post xx

Products used:
Doodle Art sets: most of them!! 🤣
Distress Oxides
Versafine

I first used my acrylic block as a guide, then stamped my Robin, and masked it off, before applying my background.

To create my backgrounds on today's cards, i applied Distress Oxides to an acrylic block. I then spritzed it with water and stamped the block direct to the card blank. Once dry I removed my Robin mask.

All my images were stamped in Black Onyx Versafine as I like the bold, contemporary feel of this look. I decided not to colour the images in as I felt it fitted in with this style.

I hope you enjoyed looking through today's post. I'll see you again soon.

ACT's Style Wire Hearts

Hello lovely crafters

Been playing around with ATC's for my weekly DT blog for Bee Crafty, using the beautiful
Style Wire Hearts as the focal point. I've not done many ATC's before but thought I'd have a bit of fun xx

Also used:
Distress Oxides
Ticker Tape 2
Dinkables
Retro Dots and Dash
Black pen

To begin I cut my ATC's from white card, 2.5"x3.5"
I applied some Distress Oxides to my glass mat, spritzed with water, then smooshed my card around. I did this several times, drying in between each layer

I stamped the hearts and dots and dash stamps randomly on/off the edge of the ATC's.
Using a fine line pen, I drew some doodles within the heart frames.

Using the same Distress Oxides I blended randomly through the Distressed Harlequin and Brick Wall Dinkables.
I drew a wiggly frame around my ATC'S.

To complete I stamped, cut out and adhered my Ticker Tape sentiments.

I had a lot of fun making these and I hope to be back with some more.

Hello you...

Hi happy crafters xx

Guess what I've been playing with for my weekly Bee Crafty blog post?..  its those fabulous Doodle Art stamp sets again 🤣 I can't get enough of them . So much fun and versatility 😁

For today's make I used:
Doodle Art regular Bird
XL Everyday Sentiments
Distress Oxides
Piece of bubble wrap!
Kuretake clean colour pens
Sparkle pens
Gelli plate

I created this background with my Gelli Plate,  Distress Oxides, and a piece of Bubblewrap 🤣
(You can get similar effect by applying the Distress Oxides to an acrylic block and spritzing with water. Press on to card blank, then stamp bits of the bubble wrap, inked up with a contrasting colour Oxide).

I stamped some of the elements randomly around my card, in black onyx Versafine.

The bird and flowers were stamped in black onyx Versafine, coloured in with sparkle pens and cut out, before adhering with 3d glue gel.
I also coloured in the leaves and branches of the swirl foliage, with my kuretake clean colour pens.
I stamped the Sentiment in Versafine and finished by drawing a wiggly frame around the inked panel.

And there we go 😁

Thanks for popping by and I'll be back soon

November page

Morning xx
As it's my turn on the Bee Crafty blog I am sharing the November page from a Calendar I made for a friend.
I used the beautiful Bird on a Branch and
Large Branch and Tree set

Also used:
Maple easy frame
Distress Oxides
Black Versafine

To begin my page I worked out where my Tree was going to go, then I used my easy frame stencil to create the effect of the leaves on the tree. I blended Distress Oxides through them, masking each one off, using the innie.

I stamped the Tree over the top of the inked leaves, in Black Onyx Versafine.

The Bird in the Branch was also stamped,  slightly off the page, in the Black Versafine.

To complete I stamped the sentiment in the same Distress Oxides,  as the leaves.

I love making gifts for friends and I hope you enjoyed todays make.

Life is good

Hey everyone xx

The Gelli plate has been out again for this week's Bee Crafty blog. Thought I'd also get out some of the Wildflowers, from the BEAUtanicals range, and see where they led me.

Products used:
Wildflower: 1, 2, 5
Moon
Life is good sentiment stamp
Dinkables
Distress Oxides
Gel Plate

I inked up my Gelli Plate with Distress Oxides and spritzed with a bit of water.

I then blended various Oxides through the Honeycomb and Leafy Branch Dinkables.

I lifted of a print on to a square of white card.

Once dry i stamped 3 different Wildflowers, in different Oxides, first and second generation, to get depth and dimension to my image.

The Moon was stamped in Oxides, slightly off the edge of the card.

The Sentiment was stamped in Smokey Grey Versafine

I matted this on to Rainbow Mirri card and then on to my card blank.

And that completes todays make. I hope you like the result.
See you again soon

Snowflakes falling...

Morning crafters xx

Any crafty plans for today?

I've been playing, yet again, with my Doodle Art sets. These make such fun and festive Christmas cards and here are a couple of cards using the beautiful Snowflakes, as the focal image.

Hope you enjoy today's weekly Bee Crafty blog post xx

Products used:
Doodle Art sets: Snowflakes, Christmas Tree
Distress Oxides
Versafine
Kuretake clean colour pens
Patterned paper

All my focal images were stamped in Black Onyx Versafine as I like the bold, contemporary feel of this look. It's simple, crisp and clean.

To create the 3d snowflakes, I stamped on to patterned paper, cut them out and layered them up. It's also nice to stamp some of the snowflakes, in black ink, directly on the card, then layer the snowflakes on top. It creates  more dimension.

I coloured in some aspects of the images, with my kuretake clean colour pens but you can use whatever you have in your crafty stash

I hope you enjoyed looking through today's post. I'll see you again soon.
