Hello you...

Hi happy crafters xx

Guess what I've been playing with for my weekly Bee Crafty blog post?..  its those fabulous Doodle Art stamp sets again 🤣 I can't get enough of them . So much fun and versatility 😁

For today's make I used:
Doodle Art regular Bird
XL Everyday Sentiments
Distress Oxides
Piece of bubble wrap!
Kuretake clean colour pens
Sparkle pens
Gelli plate

I created this background with my Gelli Plate,  Distress Oxides, and a piece of Bubblewrap 🤣
(You can get similar effect by applying the Distress Oxides to an acrylic block and spritzing with water. Press on to card blank, then stamp bits of the bubble wrap, inked up with a contrasting colour Oxide).

I stamped some of the elements randomly around my card, in black onyx Versafine.

The bird and flowers were stamped in black onyx Versafine, coloured in with sparkle pens and cut out, before adhering with 3d glue gel.
I also coloured in the leaves and branches of the swirl foliage, with my kuretake clean colour pens.
I stamped the Sentiment in Versafine and finished by drawing a wiggly frame around the inked panel.

And there we go 😁

Thanks for popping by and I'll be back soon

You are beautiful to me

Hello crafters xxx

My turn on the Bee Crafty blog today so I thought I'd try out the new Mirror Stamping blocks  available on the website xx
I thought the Doodle Art Bird was the perfect stamp to use 😁

Also used:
Mushroom Doodle Art
Ladybird Doodle Art set
Everyday Sentiments 2
Dinkables
Distress Oxides
Sparkle pens

To start this sample I used the Mirror Stamping blocks to create my two birds gazing into each others eyes 😁

To find out how to achieve this here is the link to Bevs facebook live tutorial

Having stamped my love birds I created my scene using stamps from the Mushroom and Ladyburd Doodle Art sets

I coloured my stamped images in with my sparkle pens

I inked through the Honeycomb Dinkable with Distress Oxides and then stamped my sentiment in Versafine, to complete my sample

I hope you enjoyed todays make and will give the Mirror Stamping blocks a go..so much versatlity there...

Doodle Art Bird

Morning xx

Hope everyone is good. Any crafty plans for today?

I've been getting a bit festive, (yes its August!!) with my Doodle Art sets. These make such fun and festive Christmas cards and here are a selection of cards using the delightful Bird, as the focal image. Love the wellies and this image is perfect for a couple of little girls I know 😁

Hope you enjoy today's weekly Bee Crafty blog post xx

Products used:
Doodle Art sets: all of them!! 🤣
Distress Oxides
Versafine
Kuretake clean colour pens
Sparkle pens
Gelli Plate

Whilst I have made my backgrounds for these particular cards, on my Gelli Plate, you can achieve a similar effect by applying Distress Oxides to an acrylic block. Spritz with water and apply the ink direct to the card blank. Then stamp your desired images within the inked panel to create a random design

All my images were stamped in Black Onyx Versafine as I like the bold, contemporary feel of this look. It's simple, crisp, clean and fun..just like me?? 🤣

I coloured in some aspects of the images, either with kuretake clean colour pens or sparkle pens, but you can use whatever you have in your crafty stash

I hope you enjoyed looking through today's post. I'll see you again soon.
