Any crafty plans for today?

I've been playing, yet again, with my Doodle Art sets. These make such fun and festive Christmas cards and here are a couple of cards using the beautiful Snowflakes, as the focal image.

All my focal images were stamped in Black Onyx Versafine as I like the bold, contemporary feel of this look. It's simple, crisp and clean.

To create the 3d snowflakes, I stamped on to patterned paper, cut them out and layered them up. It's also nice to stamp some of the snowflakes, in black ink, directly on the card, then layer the snowflakes on top. It creates  more dimension.

I coloured in some aspects of the images,with my kuretake clean colour pens but you can use whatever you have in your crafty stash

Doodle Art Bird

Hope everyone is good. Any crafty plans for today?

I've been getting a bit festive, (yes its August!!) with my Doodle Art sets. These make such fun and festive Christmas cards and here are a selection of cards using the delightful Bird, as the focal image. Love the wellies and this image is perfect for a couple of little girls I know 😁

Whilst I have made my backgrounds for these particular cards, on my Gelli Plate, you can achieve a similar effect by applying Distress Oxides to an acrylic block. Spritz with water and apply the ink direct to the card blank. Then stamp your desired images within the inked panel to create a random design

All my images were stamped in Black Onyx Versafine as I like the bold, contemporary feel of this look. It's simple, crisp, clean and fun..just like me?? 🤣

I coloured in some aspects of the images, either with kuretake clean colour pens or sparkle pens, but you can use whatever you have in your crafty stash

Used my Gelli Plate to create a Distress Oxides background

Baubles coloured with sparkle pens.

MDF inked with Distress Oxides.

I had soo much fun with this collection and it combines perfectly with all the other Doodle Art stamp sets.

Flying high

I'm back on the Bee Crafty blog with a make using the beautiful Winter Owl stamp set.
I've combined it with the Snowflake Inkable...a perfect combination

Also used:
Silhouette Tree with birds 
Snowflakes - Feathery 
Distress Oxides 

The Distress Oxides were blended through the Snowflake Inkable and a few Snowflakes stamped randomly around to create more interest

The Owl, Tree and Moon were stamped in Smokey Grey versafine 

A quick but effective card with a stunning image

Winter Wolf

Hi there

I'm back on the Bee Crafty blog today with the very beautiful and captivating Winter Wolf 😘
I love this image..I love wolves 😂

Also used:

Acetate

I inked up, and stamped, the gorgeous Wolf in Smokey Grey versafine and Twisted Citron/ Peacock Feathers Distress Oxides 

Random Snowflakes were stamped in Peacock Feathers DO and the moon stamped off the edge of the card , in Smokey Grey versafine

I added a few pearls to the centre of the Snowflakes

I adhered some acetate over my card,  fastening with red tape, on the back, then matted it on to rainbow mirri and glued it to the card blank

Winter Wolf

Hope everyone is well. I'm back on the
Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog with a sample using the absolutely gorgeous Winter Wolf stamp. I LOVE Wolves so to be able to have such a stunning image to play with is heaven xx

I stamped the World Map in Distress Oxides to create the background 

The gorgeous wolf was inked up in both Smokey Grey versafine and Distress Oxides to create this effect

A few stamped snowflakes finished it off

This gorgeous image does all the work 😘

Winter Owl Christmas Wishes

I know my usual DT weekly blog for Bee Crafty is on a Thursday, but I'm going to be doing an extra weekly blog, most Sunday's, during the summer holidays, over on the Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog
So here i am with another sample using one of the gorgeous Scenery Winter animals...the Owl. A gorgeous image and so versatile.
Yes I know it's summer and this is a Christmas sample 😂 but I can't put these gorgeous stamps down...so bear with me lol

The background was created using the Snowflakes with Distress Oxides, first and second generation 

I inked up an acrylic block with Distress Oxides, spritzed with water and stamped 3 panels

The Owl and Sentiment were stamped in Smokey Grey versafine and the Snowflake Flurry in Distress Oxide, slightly off the card panel
