Loving Wishes die and Butterfly lamination stamp by Stamps By Me

Hi. It's me again.

How are we all? Two more days until I break up for the summer holidays..how excited am I lol

Anyways today I wanted to share a DT sample I made to showcase the new sentiment and tag dies from Stamps By Me
Toni from Stamps By Me will be on c&c tomorrow showcasing these, and many more exciting products so please tune in

For this sample I used:
Loving Wishes die
Butterfly lamination stamp
Distress inks : Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean
Black onyx versafine ink
Fine line pen
Kuretake clean colour pens

  • I cut a piece of white card slightly smaller than my 7x5 card blank
  • The distress inks were blended across the card, ensuring I had a soft blend where each colour overlapped
  • I splattered on water droplets and dried them off with a paper towel
  • On a seperate piece of white card I used my kuretake clean colour pens, and spritzed water, to stamp the solid butterfly
  • The outline stamp was inked up in black onyx versafine ink and stamped over the solid image, before cutting out the butterflies
  • I cut the Loving Wishes die out of black card and then assembled my card
  • To complete I drew wiggly lines , to frame the image
Many thanks for popping by and don't forget to tune in to c&c tomorrow

Crafty hugs xx
