Honey Doo Crafts stamp sets

Morning crafters
I'm off to work but wanted to share a card I made yesterday using the following stamp sets from
Www.honeydoocrafts.co.uk

Flower Fountain stamp set
Foliage Flourish stamp set
Little Lilies and Leaves stamp set
Foliage Flourish Die

To create this card I stamped parts of the Flower Fountain on opposite corners of watercoloured card, in Smoky Grey Versafine ink

The flowers and leaves were coloured in using Kuretake clean colour pens and a aater brush. The sentiment was stamped using the Versafine ink before gluing it onto some more watercolour card, which I had coloured round the edge in the green kuretake pen.

I matted some textured yellow card stock onto some more watercolour card, again coloured round the edges in the green

The Foliage Flourish stamps were then stamped and heat embossed onto green card with gold embossing powder. They were then die cut using the matching dies.the flower was created using the Little Lilies and Leaves stamp set and heat embossed onto vellum.

The card was then assembled using foam pads and gel glue.

I hope you like this card..Thankyou for stopping by.

Stamps By Me Ltd Amazing Daisy stamp set

Afternoon everyone.

Wanted to share a couple of cards I've made using a new stamp set I bought from Stamps By Me Ltd

It's called the Amazing Daisy, and aptly named I think!
It's a gorgeous large lamination stamp which consists of an outline stamp and then a solid block stamp of the petals.
The Sentiments on there are beautiful to.

For both of these cards i stamped the images in Versmark ink then used kuretake pens and a water brush to get the beautiful watercolour effect I so love at the moment.

I also smooshed ink around the flowers for added depth.

I hope you like them and please go check out their website for more gorgeous stamps.

Thankyou  xx

Altenew Vintage flowers stamp set

Morning crafters

Here's a CAS card I made using the gorgeous layered Vintage Flowers stamp set by Altenew.

I stamped the flowers onto the card blank in various distress inks, using a masking technique to create a more layered look and to add a texture stamp in the background.

I stamped more of the layered flowers onto paper, cut out and attached a couple with foam pads to create a more 3d effect.

The sentiment was stamped on with one of the distress inks, to complete x

Hope you like it's simplicity

For The Love of Stamps All that Jazz stamp set

Morning crafters.

Wanted to share a couple more CAS cards I made using one of my favourite sets All That Jazz from For The Love of Stamps by www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

For both of these I used black versafine ink to stamp the main images and distress inks  to create the backgrounds

I love the watercoloured effect so created a smooshed background on one and swatches of colour on the other.

I used the masking technique to create the illusion of depth with the skyline behind the image.

Hope you like them both and I look forward to reading yr comments.

For The Love of Stamps Dino Friends stamp set

Morning crafters.
Hope everyone is well and keeping warm in this chilly weather.

Wanted to share a card I made using the cute Dino Friends stamp set from
Www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

Having worked out where I wanted the volcano to go..I cut a triangle shape up to the top of the card then put acetate behind it. I smooshed acrylic paint on the reverse of the acetate and added another piece to squash it (excuse the technical terms lol)

I created the background using distress inks then stamped and coloured in my dinosaurs. I also stamped and coloured some of the eggs and leaves and cut these out.

I mounted these onto a card blank using foam pads, gluing the eggs and leaves around the topper.

The sentiment was added together with a few pearls. And a squiggly line drawn to frame the card to complete x

Hope you like it

For the Love of Stamps All That Jazz stamp set and mask

Hi everyone.

Wanted to share my DT samples for the new stamps launched this week by
Www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

For these samples I used
All That Jazz stamp set
All that Jazz mask
Easter Blessings mask

For this sample I cut out papers from the Brights background paper pad. Two of the layers were then cut into 4 equal squares.

I used the mask to create a background of musical notes

The 3 jazz players were stamped onto 3 of the smaller squares, using Versafine ink, and a sentiment on the 4th.

All the papers were then matted onto black card then adhered to card blank using foam pads.

For this second sample I used the mask from the Easter Blessings set, to create a sunburst. I used acrylic paints watered down , allowing it to run slightly. I then used a fine line pen to edge each ray. Splatters of paint were then added.

The jazz player was stamped in versafine and then masked off. The skyline stamp was then stamped along the width of the card, too appear behind the jazz player. The mask was then removed.

A sentiment and some musical flourishes were added to complete the sample

For my final sample I used the Easter Blessings mask and distress inks, to create a sunburst.

I stamped the musical instrument and notes on top of the sunburst in versafine ink.

The jazz players were also stamped in versafine.

Using the coordinating mask from All that Jazz, I used a black fine line pen to create the Jazz sentiment,  which was matted onto black card.

The layers were all matted onto black card then adhered to card blank using foam pads.

The sample was completed with a few black pearls.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing all my samples from this stamp set. I had so much fun with its versatility and I hope you do to

For the Love of Stamps Daffodils In The Sun

Morning everyone.

I would like to share my first DT samples for the new stamp sets launched this weekend by
Www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

This is from the beautiful Daffodils In The Sun stamp set

For this card I cut a strip from the front of the right hand side of the card blank. Then drew two lines on the inside of the card to create a panel. I then drew two lines on the left hand side of the card blank to create a second panel

The daffodil flower heads were stamped randomly in the two panels in versafine ink then coloured with distress inks

The flower heads, stalks and leaves were then stamped on the card blank, using a masking technique,  to create dimension. These were then coloured in.

Using the coordinating mask, I drew round Sunshine in a black fine line then matted this onto black card. This was added to front of card with foam pads to complete.

I inked up an acrylic block 6 times, in yellow then green inks, spritzed with water, then stamped onto a catd blank to create a tartan effect. Using a masked sheet I stamped the flowers,  leaves and stalks in versafine,  added the hearts stamp and the sentiment,  to complete this sample.

Thankyou for popping by and I hope you liked these samples xx

Honey Doo Crafts Roses are Red stamp and Die

Morning crafters

Would love to share another sample made using the gorgeous Roses are Red stamp and die available from

The sentiment is from their Dream Sentiments stamp set.

Firstly I stamped just the head of the Rose randomly over some cardstock, in black versafine ink. I matted this onto some mirri before adhering to front of card blank.

I then stamped the Rose onto card, coloured in with Kuretake clean colour pens and cut out using the coordinating die.

I cut and matted another piece of plain card and used foam pads to mount onto card blank.

The die cut rose was added to front of card blank and the sentiment was stamped, matted and glued over the stem of the Rose.

Some black pearls were added to complete this sample.

Thankyou for stopping by
