Dream Live Laugh

Afternoon crafters xx

I wanted to do a quick blog post to show you  my first EVER Art Journal page (or is it called a spread? 😂)
For those of you who follow me you'll know I love my stamping and getting inky. I've always done this through my cardmaking, Design Team samples and some mixed media, mdf, frames etc.
I wanted to try something a little different that would still allow me to stamp.
So an Art Journal arrived. .. and I have sat and stared at it for a week with no clue of where to begin 😂😂
I think the panic was..what if I do something wrong... I can't just throw it away in the bin (like I usually do)... it will be recorded there, in the journal for me to see!
But then I realised it really doesn't matter! It's MY Art journal. We all make mistakes and it's part of the learning process...so here I go...a new year..a new challenge... Hope you like it xx

I hope you like my first journal entry... hopefully there will be many more lol

Tim Holtz Crazy birds and Polkadoodles Daisy stamp sets

Morning crafters.
Hope you're all well. Back to work for me after two weeks off for Easter.

I'd like to share another make using the fabulous Crazy Birds stamp set.  This time I combined it with the beautiful Polkadoodles Daisy stamp set

I stamped the first crazy bird, in Versafine black onyx ink, at the fore front of my composition and then, using a masking technique, I stamped the remaining  3 crazy birds so they appeared behind each other.

I then stamped the beautiful Daisy stamp so it sat behind my group of birds

I also stamped flowers, butterflies etc around the card and added the sentiment.

All the images were then coloured in with Kuretake clean colour pens to complete.

Thankyou for stopping by

Stamps By Me Ltd You Touch My Life Daisy stamp set

Morning crafters.
I'd like to share my first DT sample for one of the new stamp sets being launched by Stamps By Me Ltd on 14th March. Available to buy from
Www.stampsbyme.co.uk

For this sample I stamped..heat embossed and cut out several of the beautiful Daisy stamps.
These were then coloured in using Kuretake clean colour pens.
I layered shaped white cardstock onto a white card blank, then attached the Daisies using wet glue and foam pads to create different depths of dimension.
To finish I stamped the sentiment in Versafine ink and added gems

I hope you like this. And would love to read your comments
