Looking forward to a crafty day?
Here's a new sample I made to showcase the beautiful
Flowers for Design stamp set and die
By www.honeydoocrafts.co.uk.
Also Used:
Distress inks : Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac, Cracked Pistachio
Versmark ink pad
White embossing powder
Dried flower sprigs
To begin I cut some burgendy card slightly smaller than card blank and some white card slightly smaller than this, which I distressed around the edges with Cracked Pistachio distress ink
In the white card I cut a centre circle aperture and then I cut another circle slightly bigger than the aperture from a seperate piece of card
On the bigger circle I blended Cracked Pistachio and Shaded Lilac distress inks.
I used the swirl from the stamp set and stamped them randomly in Wilted Violet Distress ink
I mounted the blended background behind the aperture, then mounted this onto the burgendy card. This was then adhered to card blank
I stamped and heat embossed several of the flower stamps with white embossing powder and in various sizes
These were coloured in with Kuretake clean colour pens, die cut with coordinating die and assembled to create 3d flowers.
These were adhered with pinflair glue gel and a few dried flowers tucked behind them.
A small circle was die cut, distressed with Cracked Pistachio distress ink and the sentiment stamped in the Wilted Violet DI.
I attached this with foam pads to complete this sample
