Been a while....

 Morning everyone xx

What can I say, it's been a while!! Crazy times since the awful Covid came in to our lives, as Lockdown, Shielding,  returning to work after 5 months off, took over. Hope everyone has remained safe and well, as we all know people who have suffered with this awful virus! Xx

Anyways, to get back in to the swing of things I thought I'd share some samples I made for a new collection recently launched by Stamps By Me.  For now I wont be doing weekly DT posts, or detailing "how to" posts.  I'll merely by sharing some of my makes for you all...

So here are a few samples for today xxx

I've used various sets from the new collection including Dainty Birds,  Nesting Burds, Happy Birthday,  Aperture dies and stencils.
Hope you enjoyed today's inspiration.

Let your dreams blossom

Morning xx

So, as it's Thursday, I'm on the Bee Crafty blog today, but, this will be my final Bee Crafty DT blog 😥
I have had an amazing journey with Bev and Sam, and I will continue to support and promote their fabulous family  business. Please do support them to, even more so in this current crisis  xx

Anyway, back to today's blog, here is my Art Journal, using those gorgeous Journaling Girls again xx

Also used:
Journaling Girl - Elegant
Journaling Blocks
Big One Inkable - Andalucian
Dylusions Ink Spray - Crushed Grape
Just Bloom stamp set
Dreams Blossom stamp set
Geometric Walls stamp set

To begin I used the Crushed  Grape Dylusions spray randomly through the Andalucian Inkable

Using the small embellishment stamps from the Just Bloom stamp set, I inked them in Black Onyx Versafine and stamped them randomly around the pages.
I did the same with one of the smaller stamps from the Geometric Walls set.

The Girl, a Journaling block and some flowers, from the Just Bloom set, were stamped on card and coloured in with my Alcohol Markers.  I cut them all out then stamped a sentiment from the Just Bloom set, on the Journaling block, before adhering them all on the right hand page of my Journal.
I stamped another sentiment, from the Dreams Blossom stamp set, cut it out and adhered it to the left hand page, to finish.

I had great fun creating this spread and I hope you enjoyed looking through todays post.

Many thanks for everyone who has followed my Bee Crafty blogs

To The Moon and Back Tag

Morning everyone xx

So it's my turn on the Bee Crafty blog today and I have an MDF door hanger to share with you using one of the gorgeous Journaling Girls, Cheer. xx

Also used:
Journaling Blocks
Art Journal Borders
Dinkables
Distress Oxides
Acrylic Paint
Sparkle Pens
Alcohol Markers
White/black Gel Pen

To begin I painted the MDF with Acrylic Paints then stamped one of the Journal Borders top and bottom

I coloured in the circles with sparkle pens.
I stamped some of the embellishment stamps in Distress Oxides and blended the same colour through the Hearts Dinkable.

I then used Versafine to stamp the hearts and decorative lines, from the stamp set.

To add depth I used a black and white pen to add highlights, and accents on the circles and flowers.

I stamped the girl, in Memento, on a piece of super smooth card, coloured her with Alcohol Markers and cut her out.

I also stamped out one of the Journaling Blocks, wrote my own message on it, and cut it out.

I adhered both to the MDF to complete my make.

I hope you liked todays post and I'll be back again soon

Time flies

Morning everyone xx

It's my turn on the Bee Crafty blog today so thought I'd have another go at making some ATC'S.
For my focal image I got out the beautiful
Feathered Wings. These are awesome and so versatile xx

Also used:
Retro dots and dash
Time Flies
Distress Oxides
White paint pen

To begin I blended Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides randomly on my ATC cards.
I stamped the Retro dot and dash stamp in the Wilted Violet.
Using a posca white paint pen I have, I drew some random circles and squares

The beautiful Feathered Wings were stamped randomly on both ATC'S in Versafine

To complete I stamped the sentiment on a piece of card twice, then cut out the Time Flies   and adhered them with medium gel.

I hope you like my makes and I'll be back again very soon

Bee Monarchy

Morning everyone xx

I'm on the Bee Crafty blog today with a spread from my Art Journal using the fabulous
Bee Monarchy collection 😁

Products used:

Ticker Tape Stamps
Crackle stamp
Distress Oxides
Dinkables

To begin I smooshed Distress Oxides across  my Art Journal pages.
I blended one of the Oxides randomly through the Honeycomb Dinkable

Using the other Oxide colour I randomly blended through the Brick Wall Dinkable

I stamped the Honeycomb embellishment stamp and the Crackle stamp, around the spread in Black Soot Oxide.

The Bees were stamped on to a piece of card, coloured in with sparkle pens, cut out and adhered to the pages

The Ticker Tape Sentiments were then stamped, cut out and glued in place and to finish I drew a wiggly frame around the double spread.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks post.

Bloom

Morning everyone.

I'm over on the Bee Crafty blog today with my latest Art Journal pages, using the fabulous Journaling Girls. Love the freedom my Art Journal gives, anything goes, just let your creativity flow xx

Products used:
Journaling Girls: Cheer, Sassy
Inks
Sparkle pens

To create the background I put some drops of coloured ink on a glass mat, picked them up with a wet piece of cloth and dragged them across the pages. I did this several times, in different directions to create this effect.

I stamped the embellishments randomly across the pages using Black Onyx Versafine and Faded Jean's Distress  Oxides.

I stamped some of the Just Bloom flowers randomly across the bottom.

The Journaling Girls and a Block were stamped on card, coloured in, cut out and adhered to the page. (The Sentiment was stamped in Black Onyx Versafine on the Block, before adhering it).

I also stamped some of the flowers on a piece of card, coloured them in with my sparkle pens, cut them out and adhered them on top of the stamped images, to create more dimension.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and I'll see you again soon

Why, Art Journal spread

Morning everyone xx

I'm over on the Bee Crafty blog today with a spread from my Art Journal.
I wanted to use my Doodle Art stamps, but had no specific idea in mind, so I just went for it, and this was the end result lol. That's what I love about my Art Journal, the freedom to just create...

Products used:
Doodle Art stamp sets
Big One - Inkable - Chrysanthemum
Ticker Tape 2 Sentiments
Sparkle pens from my Crafty stash

Having gessoed my pages first, I blended Distress Oxides randomly through the Chrysanthemums Big One Inkable. I wasnt careful and I applied different pressures, to create depth and dimension.

I stamped all the Doodle flowers, from all the different sets I had, randomly across the bottom of the pages.

The Butterfly was then stamped twice, going off the edge of the page, again to add dimension and perspective.

I used a couple of the small embellishment stamps, from some of the sets, randomly across the spread, including the splatter of dots one, around the flowers.

I then coloured in using my sparkle pens. I wanted a watercolour effect to this spread, so I coloured in very loosely, leaving white spaces, going over the edges, and blending colours together. I love how this technique gives a completely different look to a more precise, neat colouring technique.

The Ticker Tape sentiment was stamped on white card, cut out and adhered, to complete my spread.

I hope you liked it, it was a lot of fun to create.
Until next time,

To complete I stamped and heat embossed the Ticker Tape sentiment then adhered with 3d glue gel.

I hope you liked todays make and I'll see you all again soon.
