Birds, Feathers and skull....

Morning crafters

I'm back on the Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog with a card I made using the gorgeous
Skull with Birds and Feathers. I absolutely love this image and it's so versatile xx

Also used
Life is good sentiment stamp
Versafine
Kuretake clean colour pens

I stamped the gorgeous image in Smokey Grey versafine and coloured it in with my kuretake clean colour pens and a water brush
I stamped the sentiment in the same Versafine
This was matted onto rainbow mirri and set to one side
I stamped the image several times, onto white card, cut out some of the flowers, and coloured them in.
On a seperate piece of card,  slightly smaller than my card blank, I carefully inked up the flower on the stamp with Distress Oxide, and multi stamped it randomly,  to create a background.
This was matted onto rainbow mirri
My card was then assembled with the flowers being shaped and adhered with 3d foam pads

I hope you'll agree that this image can make a really pretty card and therefore has so much versatility

I'll be back again soon with another Bee Crafty make

Life is good...

Hello lovely crafters xx

It's my turn over on the Bee Crafty blog today and I'm sharing a card I made using the beautiful Mandala 3 Inkable. I love these, so versatile and can be used with other stamps etc, or as a stand alone xx

Also used:
Inspirational Words 2 - Life is good
Gold embossing powder
Distress Oxides
Dinkables

To create this sample I applied Versmark ink to the Mandala Inkable then laid a piece of card over it and rubbed my hand across it firmly.  Make sure you always keep one hand on the card at all times, as you rub firmly with the other
I heat embossed the Versmark image with gold embossing powder
The Distress Oxides were blended all over the card. I used Abandoned Coral, Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey
Whilst the ink was still wet I spritzed water through parts of the Honeycomb Dinkable then dabbed with a paper towel. This gives a subtle bleached effect
I inked the Distressed Harlequin Dinkable with Abandoned Coral DO
The sentiment was stamped in Versmark on to black card, and heat embossed in gold
The card was assembled to complete today's make

Many thanks for popping by and I'll be back next Thursday with another Bee Crafty make

Fallen Angel

Hi crafters xx

I'm back with another make on the
Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog  and today I'm showcasing the fabulous Bansky Inspired
Fallen Angel . I decided to combine him with another Banksy Inspired set, Graffiti Area .

Also used :
Graffiti Alpha
Texture Circles
Distress Oxides
Versafine
Black pen

A fun and vibrant make that can be altered just by using different coloured inks

I randomly inked up the Graffiti Area with a mixture of inks then spritzed it with water before stamping it. This gave it a slightly watered,  paint look to it
I did the same with the Graffiti Alpha stamp, which I held in the palm of my hand and stamped bits randomly around my Fallen Angel image
The Texture Circle stamp was inked up in Black onyx versafine and randomly stamped on the edges
To complete I drew a wiggly frame around the card blank

I hope you enjoyed today's make and I'll see you back here soon with another Bee Crafty make

Hello You

Hi everyone xx

I'm back on the Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog with a card I made using a couple of the Banksy Inspired stamps.

Also used:
Texture Borders
Texture Circles
Pixie Powders
Distress Oxides
Versafine

I made a background, on watercolour card, using Pixie powders as I hadn't played with these for a while
I then stamped some of the Texture Borders and Circles in Distress Oxides and Versafine, randomly over my background, thinking about where I was going to be placing my main images.
I dried off the background before stamping my girl and boy in black onyx versafine
Once dry I matted this on to black card and then adhered to card blank

Hello crafters xx

I'm back on the Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog today with a fun make using some of my favourite Banksy stamps

Nature...

Hi crafters xx

Hope you're all well and have a lovely day planned
I'm on the Bee Crafty blog today and I decided to try something new. I bought some natural Slate coasters and had a go at stamping on them. Have to say once I got the hang of it I was on a roll...and will be doing more no doubt lol

I used:
Large Butterfly
Large Sunflower
Maple Hand Drawn leaf
Versmark
Embossing Powders
Metallic Markers (from my crafty stash )
Varnish

When stamping/heat embossing on these you MUST use a GLASS MAT as it will get very HOT

Do NOT touch the slate coaster during and after heat embossing as it gets extremely HOT. It takes a long time for the slate to cool down

Anti Static the coaster before stamping your image in Versmark.  Press and hold down firmly for a minute or so to allow the Versmark to soak into the slate properly

Apply embossing powder

Heat. (Please note it takes a long time for the embossing powder to melt!!! )

Once dry and the slate has cooled right down then you can colour in your images.
I used metallic Markers from my crafty stash

Once dry I applied several coats of Varnish

I hope you liked today's makes..I  enjoyed making them

I'll be back soon with another Bee Crafty make
