Would like to share my first set of DT samples for the new stamps launched today by For The Love of Stamps
Www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk
For the following samples I used
Twirling Ballerinas stamp set and coordinating Mask
For my first sample I blended distress inks over Ink Me card. I then used a water brush to bleach out a spotlight.
I taped the mask down onto the card and used Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet distress inks to create the curtains, drawing folds of the curtain in with a fine line pen.
I used Black Soot distressing through the mask to place my ballerina.
The sentiment was stamped with versafine ink before matting the card onto rainbow mirri and then paper from the Background stamping pads.
For my second sample I inked 3 ballerinas onto oval die cuts in Cracked Pistachio, Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick distress inks.
I used a fine line black pen to draw in random swirls and dots.
These were matted onto larger cardstock before stamping stars around the die cuts.
This was matted onto rainow mirri then some of the paper from the Polka dots background pad before mounting onto card blank.
The sentiment was stamped with versafine them matted onto the card
For this sample I drew a faint line around a white card circle die cut.
I then stamped and heat embossed ballerinas around the circle.
I stamped another ballerina in black, onto the white die cut card. I used part of the texture stamp to add effect around the die cut before mounting onto black card with foam pads.
This was then matted onto mirri and onto card blank.
Sentiment was stamped with versafine and again the texture stamp was used around the edge before using foam pads to adhere to card
For my final sample I cut coordinating papers from the Monochrome Background paper pad into two strips, that would later be matted onto a square of rainbow mirri.
I then heat embossed a black and a white ballerina onto the opposite effect patterned papers.
These were then layered onto the mirri, black card and then onto the card blank
To finish I stamped the sentiment with versafine before layering onto card with foam pads.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my samples and thankyou for taking the time to look and leave a comment.
