For The Love of Stamps Home in a Dome stamp set

Hello everyone.
Sharing an mdf DT sample using the new stamps by For The Love of Stamps from www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk
I painted the mdf with a mixture of acrylic paints and splattered gold paint all over.
I used the smaller stamps to frame around the mdf with versafine ink then coloured with the paints
3 toadstools were stamped and heat embossed then coloured in using the acrylic paints. These were then glued to the mdf using 3d gel, to create dimension
The sentiment was stamped then cut into strips and adhered to the plaque and a few pearls and gems added to complete this sample
Would love for you to leave a comment and hopefully follow my blog to see all my future makes

Happy New Years eve. Favourite makes from this year

Well it's new years eve so another year almost over. Where did the time go?

On the whole it's been a good year for me. I have the love of my family and friends,  a grandaughter who I adore, and another grandchild on the way.

I was asked to be on the Design Teams for Stamps By Me Ltd and For The Love of Stamps,  for which I feel truly honoured. Through these I've made some lovely friends,  many of whom I'll never meet, but that doesn't diminish our friendship in any way.

I am excited to see what 2017 brings.

Here are some of my favourite makes of 2016... it was actually very hard to choose, but I hope you like them all.

I wish you all a very very happy and healthy  2017

For the Love of Stamps Blossoming Birdcage mask and stamp set

Hello everyone

Thankyou for popping by to see this new DT sample i made, using the new stamps and coordinating masks, from For The Love of Stamps by www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk

I cut out all my mats and layers in contrasting white and black card stock

Using Versmark ink pad and pen, and white embossing powder, I stamped the birdcage and used the mask, to create my scene.

I used the Versmark pen to draw round the flowers, from the mask, onto vellum. I added white embossing powder and heat set. The flowers were then cut out.

I assembled all my mats and layers using foam pads then attached the flowers,  with some on foam pads to create different depths.

Clear gems were added to finish.

I hope you liked the sample and would love to read any comments
